  • great idem low cost
Size: 235x235mm Number of Items: 1
very suprised to find this was a great upgrade for my ender 3 pro great adeshion and finish on the prints can be smooth or textured so if your having adhesion problems then use textured then if you get level dialed in then use smooth side for better finish

  • Still requires adhesion assistance, love the spring steel
Size: 235x235mm Number of Items: 1
I primarily bought this bed to replace a glass bed. I was concerned about dropping the glass, and some parts with large footprints would stick pretty hard to it, requiring a utility knife to carefully separate from the bed. I didn't want to risk cutting myself, so I decided flexible spring steel was the way to go. And having used a PEI sheet on one side of my glass bed before, I figured I may as well stick with PEI. So far, the PEI coating has been pretty poor for bed adhesion. I can't get PLA to stick to it very well. Once it starts laying down a bead it's fine, but starting new lines curl up at the beginning, causing issues or gunk to stick to the nozzle. I've even tried scuffing the smooth side of the bed for a little more grip, and while that helps, it's still not great. Even soap and water to get all my skin oils off, and an alcohol wipe (while cold), did not help. So, I'm relegated to using glue stick on this bed, just like my glass bed. The upside is the flexible spring steel and magnet. I love being able to quickly stick the bed down without clips that cut into my print area. I also love being able to flex the bed to pop parts off quickly. Overall, these are more important than not using glue, so I'll continue using this bed for my printing needs. I need glue for PETG and TPU anyway to prevent them from bonding to the PEI material. But I'm not sure how even the thickness of the magnet or PEI sheets are. I noticed all four of my corners are low compared to the center of the bed. This may be due to the slight flex in the steel material, which you can see when you remove it. It's not perfectly flat. A little flexing can help even it out, but be careful not to over-bend it. Overall, it's a decent product. But the PEI isn't all it's cracked up to be. I still need to test out the textured side of the bed, but I don't see myself needing or wanting to use it much, as it's a fairly rough texture. But it may help with adhesion due to more surface area being in contact with the first layer. As long as you're find with still using something to assist with adhesion, this is a solid choice at a good price, especially if you use a leveling probe. But if you just want the PEI for first layer adhesion, my GizmoDorks PEI sheet had much better adhesion with PLA and no glue than this bed. UPDATE 4/16/2022: Since leaving my initial review, I've purchased a leveling probe to make things a little easier. Even so, my experience with this bed hasn't gotten much better. I believe this is largely due to the powder-coated textured side of the bed having uneven thickness. Even with the probe, at least two corners have challenges printing because they're too low. On the textured side, I get good adhesion and it releases nicely when it cools down. But the uneven texture causes the nozzle to hit a high spot here and there on the first layer. I can moderately-correct some of the issue by rotating the bed around 180 degrees, but I can't try only 90 degrees either direction because the tabs would hit the frame of the printer. Regardless, uneven thickness make printing challenging, even with a probe. If I had to do it again, I'd stick with just a smooth bed and no texture to ensure a more-consistent thickness. ... show more

  • Great product with fantastic customer support
Size: 235x235mm Number of Items: 1
I bought this sheet wanting to get away from glass and right out of the packaging my prints had no issue sticking to this plate. I did print PETG and after removing the part a chunk of the PEI coating came off. I reached out to FYSETC about this issue and I got in touch with Emily. She helped me right away and let me know that they would replace my sheet with a new one. Unfortunately it was not in stock but Emily did not give up. She came up with other solutions and they were able to get me a replacement within a few days. It's one thing to have a good product but to have awesome customer service is another thing. Because of how Emily helped me I will continue to recommend and get their products. ... show more

  • Meh on adhesion, fail on durability
Size: 310x310mm Number of Items: 1
I haven't run anything but this same spool of orange eSun PTEG on this sheet since I received it. My stock glass bed with glue did okay, but wanted to improve beyond that with this PEI sheet. Resetting the Z-offset after installation, I have run about four small parts I needed with no success. Then I ran a larger "puck" for one of my hammers, it stuck really well. Next I ran a few magnet handles I designed. The first batch was fine, the second batch stuck really well and pulled a spot of the coating right off. Now there is a noticeable hole in the surface that will cause imperfections in my next prints if I place them over that spot. I am going to have to replace this sheet now, the smooth side is ruined. ... show more

  • Can't recommend, much lighter than a stock Prusa sheet, doesn't hold to the magnetic bed very well.
Size: 254x241mm Number of Items: 1
I bought two of these, as I have a Fysetc Voron 2.4 and thought the spring steel sheets are great for that printer. After having the plate shift off the bed multiple times and ruin multiple prints, I cannot recommend this plate. The steel is much thinner and lighter than the stock Prusa plates, and I believe that makes it so there isn't enough magnetic pull to hold it to the heated bed. I've resorted to trying to use binder clips like it's 2015 again, hopefully that works, otherwise I'm just going to go back to stock Prusa plates. I like how ASA adheres to the FYSETC plate, both the textured and smooth sides adhere quite well, but the flaw with the shifting just cannot be ignored. I also can't just use the holes for the pins on the back side of the Prusa heated bed as the holes in the FYSETC spring steel sheets don't line up at all. Just feel like I wasted my money. ... show more

  • Not great - the plate is warped and does not stick well to the magnets
Size: 254x241mm Number of Items: 1
I cannot comment on the adhesion, but the plate I received was warped with the corners higher than the middle. The Mk3S magnets can hardly pull down the corners enough to flatten the plate. I have not printed yet, but I suspect that since the plate is not flat, and there will be air pockets between the plate and the heater, the temperature will not be even. A definite fail - I am returning mine ... show more
