Opened package, put batteries in device, turned it on and the laser did not come on. The indicator light on the switch came on for continuous and for glint mode but neither mode produced the test light. Replaced batteries and same result. 3 stars due to frustration. The tools themselves are awesome, and not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this but the cases they came with definitely don't fit the tool. Cases are too small. The velcro barely overlaps to touch so even the slightest movement makes it come undone

Pros... very bright, easy to locate. Cons... the FC adapter that came with it won't screw on, easily falls off. the light source stopped working after 6 months, still on first set of batteries. It is possible my guys dropped it a few times so this may be why it quit working???
