First and foremost, make sure you understand that you are getting a futon for under $300, so set your expectation right. With that said, it is actually pretty damn good for the price. I got this for my basement and the size is perfect for the spot I picked. Assembly was really easy, you simply screw in the 5 legs and 2 sides. I absolutely love how I can pulled down the middle armrest and use them as cup holders. Goes really well with my home theater. Conversion to bed can be done in less than 3 seconds, but if you plan to use this as a bed a lot, make sure you can fit. I'm only 5'7" and it's a couple inches to short for me to lay completely straight. And you definitely need some sort of padding to make it more comfy. Speaking of comfort, the material they use in the cushions are pretty hard and completely flattens when you sit on it. There's barely any support so prolonged use becomes very uncomfortable. All in all, it's great for a guest room or man cave that you use once a while. But definitely spend a bit more $$$ to get a better sofa if it's going to be your daily drive. ... show more

The couch I had purchased isn't what I received and the couch also came damaged. The assembly was pretty easy even though some of the holes didn't line up all the way. When I sat the couch upright, I noticed the fabric on the back is so thin and flimsy and it also had a couple holes towards the middle. A few hours later I noticed part of a staple was sticking out the top of the couch. Contacted the seller the next day and they offered me a full refund of I paid shipping (shipping was almost 50 bucks) but I didn't feel I should pay for their mistake after spending $300 and waiting over a month to receive the wrong thing couch. Long story short I only got 75% of my money back and got to keep the couch to do whatever I want with it. I've only had this couch for a couple months and I'm already able to feel the metal springs where the cushion is starting to stay flat and make it uncomfortable. Not a recommended buy unless it's used in like a guest room where it's not used super often. ... show more

PRO: I love the color, perfect size and was delivered earlier than expected. CON: I think it is okay for sitting, if you are short, the seat could be deeper. Needs to be thicker cushioning, I could feel the section with the cup holder, even after adding a 2-inch pad and topper! One leg separated from the part that is screwed into the couch, it kept falling off. I had to hammer it back together each time I attempted to move it. The back should recline just a bit, so that I am not completely upright all the time. ... show more

Bought this for my small mother in law apartment for when my kids visit. It fits perfectly in the oddly shaped space and seems durable. They haven't used it as a bed, yet, but for younger guys, I think it'll be comfortable enough. It is adorable and seems to be sturdy and well made.

This couch was the most uncomfortable couch i have sat on or tried to sleep on i could feel every board spring and empty space in the couch it was hard as heck felt like it had no foam or stuffy to add cushion and support. This is like an office couch or a couch for a waiting room and only room for one person to sleep unless you dont move in your sleep moght be able to fit two small people. The back of the couch doesnt go up high enough to spport head so when you recline it back you have no place to rest your head very uncoftable all around and very displeased with this purchase. I purchased this item for nostalgic reasons, my grandmother had a sleeper like this when I was young. We slept on it when we stayed with her. Putting the thing together was not as easy as advertised. This futon is super cute, but it is not comfortable. It was easy to put together, but the arms are kind of a pain. We ordered this because we just moved and did away with our old furniture. It is taking forever to receive our new couch so we needed something to hold us over. I would not suggest this for a permanent piece in your living room as it hurts your butt before long. I have tried to sleep on it once, and it was not good. You would need to put a mattress topper on it so you don't feel the jabs. ... show more
