I have a more traditional entertainment center that has a large section for a CRT-style TV. The bookcase is otherwise in good shape, but I needed something to break up that big space and allow for more stacked storage. This works very well, and I may get another one. I was able to put it together with some focus but little effort, and the only problem was that the little plugs to cover up the screw holes in the top didn't fit -- couldn't get them in there, even with a hammer. So I'll have to come up with another solution to get the smooth finish on the top shelf. But that's not a deal-breaker for me. Love the shelf, it's in good shape, and it's nice that it's designed to be connected to other units and stacked in whatever configuration you need. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

These cubs exactly what I needed. Everything works for me (size, color and shape). I bought the furnishings legs go make the vertical panels higher. I have 8’ height ceiling and six cubes almost fit in. It looks great.

Look nice, easy to assemble. Extra screws, anchors and EVERY unit comes with an interchangeable Philips / slotted screwdriver (which are totally only good for poking holes in things).

I was surprised how easy it was to assemble, after I read a number of reviews that said this was difficult. I guess it's an inconsistency issue - everything was aligned perfectly on the 2 cubes that I purchased, but for some people this hasn't been the case. It included the correct sized screwdriver, which saved me from having to hunt through our tools to find the right fit. The caps that cover the screws sit flush, so you can't really see them. This isn't furniture quality, but worked perfectly to create added shelving in my closet. Would buy again. ... show more

I had to bust out the drill to pre-drill many holes, because they didn't come that way. Without pre-drilling, the screws were INCREDIBLY difficult to install. Another reason I docked a star is because the drawers are more shallow than they need to be, given the amount of vertical space available inside the cube. Unfortunately, I had counted on the full space being available, and now I can't use the cube for all of the items I had wanted to. However, the finished cube is nice and functional enough that I'm going to make do with it and store the bigger items somewhere else. My master bedroom closet has a few odd nooks that these cubes worked well in to store some larger items and allow stacking. For a basic cube this came with what seemed to be a lot of pieces but since mine were going in a closet I didn't bother with the back or the parts used to attach multiple cubes together. They are easy to assemble (but a cordless screwdriver of some type if recommended) and sturdy once put together. Definitely recommend if you need something of these dimensions. ... show more
