i installed 200' of these lights in a full day and they look great. time will tell how long they'll last. i have 2 complaints. one, i could find no compatible extension cords or splitters for these lights. two, the supplied mounting screws stripped easily.

order received, but upon openeing the box I noticed the light strings were not in any form of packaging. The lights were just laid in the box with a tie wrap around them. The controller was in a sealed bag, looks like this was a previously returned item. I installed the 3 light strings and plugged them into the controller. All the lights came on but only one of the three light strings had multi color. The other 2 light strings were one color. I connected my phone to the controller but couldnt get any change out of the lights, nor would it turn the lights off. We are definitely in a time where you must check everything before installing. ... show more

As far as I can tell, these lights are of similar quality as more expensive, 100-foot sets, at a little less than 1/2 of the price. I specifically have them side-by-side with another 100-foot set I recently purchased. Both are advertised as "outdoor, permanent lights." Placed side-by-side and out of and away from the boxes they came in, it's hard for me to tell which set is which. That makes me wonder how anyone would justify paying so much more for what seems to be basically the same product. Note that I haven't had either set long enough to be able to test for longevity. I cannot visually see any reason why one would last significantly longer than the other. But I will plan on circling back and updating my review if something ends up happening to make one or the other stand out. One thing to definitely be aware of is the strength, or lack thereof, of the adhesive on the lights themselves. Considering that these are intended to be permanent lights, the adhesive appears to be woefully inadequate. It is reasonably affordable to attach them much more permanently and effectively than allowed by the adhesive that comes with the lights. Search for "permanent outdoor lights channel" for the best solution (cost is about $1.00 - $2.00/linear foot). Or, search for "permanent outdoor lights hooks" for a less expensive solution that is still worlds better than that standard option that comes with the lights themselves. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got the 200ft and it just about made it all around the house. I love how there’s 3m tape and you can use screws. I used both. Very easy to install. I pre drilled holes before using the supplied screws. Also did come with brackets so your wire doesn’t hang low in some areas which it will happen. The app is easy to use and my neighbors are jealous of these lights. I’m glad I don’t have to take them down and put them back up. I can change them to any color and any sequence the app provides. I can root for my favorite team or celebrate St Pattys day. The options are limitless. I’ve only had them for about 3 weeks before this review but I’ll change it if anything happens down the road. I was able to get this for 50% off during Black Friday sale. Worth the money. ... show more
