This is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. It is not only convenient with all the extra tools, but it saves time because you don't have all the hair on the floor to clean up. It's quiet and works great. Previous to buying this FurMe, I used Andes clippers. They worked fine, but there was always a huge mess to clean up on the floor afterwards. With FurMe the hair goes into the storage container which is very easy to empty. As far as capacity, I can groom my Standard Poodle without having to empty it. It fills up about 3/4 with my Golden Doodle's hair. I think the capacity is more than sufficient for my use. I also use it on my short haired 10 pound Chihuahua mix rescue for deshedding. He has Pekingese in his blood line and got some of that Pekingese hair. It does a great job with that too. I'm posting a picture of my FurMe, and the hair in it belongs to my husband! Yes, it works great on his hair too. So this has worked out to be a big cost saver for me. I'm saving $400 on having my 3 dogs (Standard Poodle, Golden Doodle and Chihuahua rescue groomed and $25 plus tip to have my husband's hair cut. I have two small dogs, 8lb and 20lb, I use this on about once a month. Great investment. I can groom my dogs whenever I want and this is so easy to use and clean! Works great. What a great addition to our fur fighting aresnal! My dogs tolerate it well. I use the "furminator" attachment more than the pin brush and I have used the clipper attachment as well for trimming the paw pads. It is easy to use, and pretty quiet for a vacuum. The suction is good but not super powerful. It has cut down on shedding a lot!! I use it at least once a week on my two large dogs that shed a lot. I have a shepherd mix and a golden. I recommend this to anyone with dogs/cats that shed a lot. The first time I used it my arms got tired from brushing so much but since then it doesn't take long at all. The dogs are less itchy with the undercoat shed being gone. There is a lot less hair on the floor and our clothes now. A five star purchase and worth every cent ! ... show more

This works exactly as advertised. Have used it 3 times on our 28 lb Cockapoo. Started with bigger attachments and worked down to the smaller ones. It’s trial and error. Noise was ok, not loud but I wouldn’t say quiet. Did it on our porch where we have a fountain. That helped muffle the sound some. It even worked good around her face. Would recommend this to anyone with a pet. Like that I can use it every 4-5 weeks during the summer. I like that you can see how much hair taking off as you go. All hair is sucked in vacuum. This works great on my long coat shepherds, and they shed - a LOT. Suction is fine, it removes loose hair well. My guys love to be brushed and the noise is pretty quiet so it doesn't bother them. The problem I have with it is - it's not very ergonomic to hold and brush. You are brushing with a vacuum hose. It's round and for me it fatigues my hand and arm very quickly. We have a German Shedder, I mean Shepherd, vacuuming is a daily must or wood floors would turn into carpet. After using this twice, hair cut down by 2/3!! I love scruffy dogs but grooming can be exhausting. With this I was able to groom my dog easily with minimal cleanup. The attachments are easy to change out and the suction was perfect even on low. I wish I had purchased this sooner.
