So the shelf itself obviously like any Amazon furniture its sturdy but not STURDY, it’s still sturdy enough and just big enough to place a Vizio TV on it 🙂↕️. The shelf looked so much bigger with the AI feature obviously that’s on me lol the shelf isn’t that big at least to me it’s a lil skinny but it holds what needs to be stored so whatever, it was pretty easy to build, my sister held the parts while i screwed in things with a screw driver and it maybe took a little under an hour, it is a two person project and the estimated build time is 50 mins. I sawed holes on the back for my sister and I’s Nintendo’s. The backing is fairly thin it’s not a thick piece of wood but clearly it holds fine 🙂↕️ ... show more

This was extremely easy to put together, Nothing was missing. They say u dont need a hammer for the main assembly but you do. The “screws” are hard to put in without additional force. But over all took me 10 min to assemble. Its a beautiful shelf but not the size i anticipated.

I bought this item in order to organize my nail supplies. I did not want the book shelf to sit on the floor so I also bought some legs to attach to the bottom and it works great. I am thinking of buying another one to set on top of a short dresser. Until you attach the back board this shelf is a little wobbly. I bought this to fill the little space beside my desk and wall, and it looks great. I’m satisfied with my purchase. The build wasn’t too bad and the instructions were easy to follow. Note that you should have a screwdriver and hammer on hand while you put this together. Overall, for the price it wasn’t bad. Now, the negatives. Some of the parts did come a bit banged up (slight discoloration, a small chip on the corners, etc), and when I ran a damp cloth over it to get rid of the styrofoam bits and such off, some of the stain did actually wipe off too. Not enough to be noticeable, but not a great thing to notice when I glanced at the cloth. It’s also a bit wobbly. I shoved some cardboard under to level it out so it’s not a problem but yeah. I highly recommend this product! Warning is made out of thinner wood like material so it isn’t the sturdiest piece of furniture. However, I have large textbooks in it and haven’t had a problem! It didn’t take long to assemble and came with all the components and clear instructions!

I actually got three of these green shelves and they seem pretty consistent. I feel like my photos don't do the color justice because it's really a soft light green, and these make it look more like a sharp yellowish-green. I do like the color. And as others have mentioned, it is a bit of a shame that the directions aren't clear about the direction to connect the shelves. I had to reference the photo that showed how all the pieces will attach as well as coming back to this page to see how the colors align in order to make sure I was doing it right (especially in those first steps for the top shelves). They're pretty decent shelves as far as having a good amount of space on each shelf, the height, and being small enough to fit in a small apartment yet actually helpful for storage. The assembly is straightforward if you have experience with these kinds of projects but I had a few concerns. I believe the biggest problem is that it gives you the exact amount of all the pieces, meaning that if some come broken, you're just out of luck. Usually for shelves there will be one extra of most pieces. As shown, I did have a couple come broken and a wooden peg that split when I tried to use the mallet. With all three, I struggled when connecting the top shelves to the bottom shelves. When connecting, the circular metal connectors (I don't recall the exact name for them) are meant to turn 180° to secure the screws. But not a single one on any of them could. It felt like I was going to break the shelf itself, or threatened to strip those connectors. So there's a small gap there on each one, and nothing I tried was able to get them to connect snuggly. That and trying to screw in those black pieces behind the shelf were the hardest parts. It was pretty hard trying to screw into the shelf with no prep hole, with the screwdriver right up against the shelf with no room to hold it well. This shelf should have been really easy to put together (especially for someone like me with a lot of experience assembling furniture), but I ended up having hand cramps a few times. All-in-all they're what I needed so it will be fine. I just have to be careful with the one that has the broken peg since that one will be less safe (especially because it's at the part that can't connect properly). I do suggest getting your own straps to secure these to the wall, especially if you have kids or pets, because they're only stable as long as it doesn't get pushed on. Edit - I forgot to mention that the wood is a bit rough around the edges. The photo shows discoloration on the green, and that part feels really rough. And that is something that was consistent on all the shelves of the three units that I bought. It isn't necessarily a deal breaker for me, but it's something that you should be aware of before making a decision. ... show more
