I bought 5 of these to create a bookshelf wall. The first 4 units were easy to assemble. All parts included (no extras) and the material was clean, straight, and undamaged. All holes aligned perfectly. Until the 5th unit. Yikes. One broken screw could not be used and I didn't have the same size at home so had to figure most strategic place to miss a screw. Then the stabilizing bolt lock broke. I'm not that strong but it just shattered. Then I noticed a big scratch in the bottom support piece which of course was on the front facing side. So the shelf itself obviously like any Amazon furniture its sturdy but not STURDY, it’s still sturdy enough and just big enough to place a Vizio TV on it 🙂↕️. The shelf looked so much bigger with the AI feature obviously that’s on me lol the shelf isn’t that big at least to me it’s a lil skinny but it holds what needs to be stored so whatever, it was pretty easy to build, my sister held the parts while i screwed in things with a screw driver and it maybe took a little under an hour, it is a two person project and the estimated build time is 50 mins. I sawed holes on the back for my sister and I’s Nintendo’s. The backing is fairly thin it’s not a thick piece of wood but clearly it holds fine 🙂↕️ ... show more

Nice, but extremely thin wood. The holes strip so easily so be careful! If the boards fall the wrong way while you are trying to assemble or if you screw it down too tight, the hole will be completely stripped out.

I like this bookcase as it is well built and sturdy to hold my model collections. It is shipped unassembled, and the assembly took about 30 minutes. it is a great value and well worth purchasing. I am well pleased with my purchase.

Not too hard to put together, just a bit tedious. I think it’s too small to use as a bookshelf, but it works great for kids toys and playrooms. It’s short enough for our son (12 months old) to reach the top shelf, we just made sure to buy wall anchors to attach it to the wall to make sure it wouldn’t fall over. Love how it looks in our son’s playroom and can definitely see us buying more once our son has more toys ... show more

The shelf is great, love the size and style. Simple enough to put together. We bought 2 units, 1 no issues all parts labeled correctly. The second one was clearly packed by someone who didn’t know where/how to label the parts. They put the parts stickers ON THE PAINTED WOOD. All the parts were labeled correctly that’s not the problem. After the second unit was finished I went to take the adhesive stickers off and almost all of them pulled paint off with the stickers! Very frustrating!! The first units adhesive labels were along the edging pieces which have some sort of veneer where the adhesive comes off without damage. ... show more

I was surprised at the weight of this shelf - heavy! I put it together myself with a screwdriver (I can't find my drill). All the pieces fit perfectly and the pre-drilled holes all lined up (a definite plus!!). Purchased for use in my sewing room - I believe it will be perfect! Also, you can position it horizontally or vertically, depending upon your space. Sturdy. Appears to be ready to paint, if needed - finish isn't great and nicks easily. Not a biggie for me. I wanted a cubicle for our closet to organize games and such. I thought this was a standard size cubicle, but it is actually smaller. It worked out in my favor as everything still fits like I was going for and it gives me more space to store other things here also.
