We are creating a small main floor laundry in our home. I wanted an open shelf next to a 42” wall cabinet and hanging rod. This bookcase is perfect for that! I added some extra support at the top and bottom and screwed into the wall studs. It’s sturdy enough and works as I’d hoped. Arrived quickly and easy to put together. The shelves are thin and the back pieces are very thin…I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on the shelves (for example, a heavy bottle of laundry detergent). Knocking off star because the screws that run from the sides of the bookcase into the shelves lifted the shelves a bit…fortunate that it didn’t split the wood. ... show more

For such a hefty price tag, I expected a better quality product. After assembling the shelf, I had a parts sticker on the visible side of one of the shelves. I started to carefully peel it, and it took the “finishing” off. Cheap garbage. The company wasn’t very helpful. Keep in mind not to peel the stickers off if you have to. ... show more

I'm very pleased with this product. The directions were excellent. Too bad the assembler couldn't follow the picture directions. Despite forgetting to put in a few parts for more sturdiness, the 9 screws I did put in, gave the shelves plenty of sturdiness for my needs. If I had put all the pieces together, each shelf can hold 10lbs. I think now maybe only 6-7lbs. I highly recommend this product. ... show more
