It looks like a onesie pajamas and it is fluffy like a blanket. It is not as form fitting as the pictures make it out to be. I genuinely don’t think people would've known right away what I was supposed to be had my whole family not been dressed up as race car drivers too. My husband is very difficult to get into a costume, but this made it very easy. He loved the pilot theme, and the onesies are very comfortable. They are lightweight, but warm for cooler nights. Might get hot in a warmer climate. I am 5'6" and 136lbs and ordered a medium. It's baggy and comfortable. I probably could have ordered a small and been fine. I dont know if I missed it but I wasn’t expecting this to be like a thick winter blanket. Luckily it still looked cool with the arms tied around the waste cause it was so thick and warm. It was really cool looking I guess I was hoping it was a Jean like material vs five inches of heavy cotton lol

I was a little worried about it being unisex, but I bought a large and it fit great. It was super warm being that its fleece. The legs were a little long, but you can expect that on a unisex onesie.
