I bought this for my grand daughter for her Halloween costume as she is being Charra from Undertale. I was heading to Party City to look for something and as decided before I drove there I would check Amazon to see if they had something. That's when I saw this knife. On my iphone I just saw a bloody knife and didn't realize that it wasn't just a colored rubber knife - the price and the blood sold me...when I showed it to my grand daughter her eyes got as big as saucers - she loves it. I really liked this knife! Yeah, it's costumey, but the bloody effect is cool, even in photos. Unfortunately, after 2 years, it's dried up! Maybe mine was defective, or perhaps it got bent in the box it was stored in, cause an air breach and drying it up. Either way, well worth the few dollars I paid for it! Best blade ever looks just like the one in all the "SCREAM" Movies. If you want this to look more like the "Scream" knife do what I did take some metallic silver sharpie's color the entire blade, the blade holder and the bottom of the knife on both sides, also carefully draw the both black ring around the handle. I didn't realise the the very bottom black ring was a bit higher. I think it looks not bad but still. The pictures will explain. Mine (on the wood floor) compared to somebody else's ... show more

Bought this to go with my Chucky costume, and it was great! I did see an average 3 star review when I got this, but decided it seemed cool for a good price. Yes, it doesn't look real up close if you're going for that. But as a Halloween prop on a cute costume, I think it's worth the $10! Great looking and resistant. The blood runs inside it and when u "chop" it kinda flows. It doesn't feel sturdy so i didn't forced it too much. Worked very good with my creepy costume.

My son absolutely loved it. The blood oozes around the blade and looked really creepy. However, it looks so much like a real knife it should never be taken to school or to a public place. It could easily be mistaken for the real thing by law enforcement.
