I'm not entirely sure why these came pre-dampened but it did the job right out of the package. I haven't found that these sponges pick up spills any better than your ordinary sponge but it's useful for when you don't want to be wiping down your counters, furniture, etc. with the same sponge you use to wash dishes. I think the grooves on the sponge are pretty neat. My one gripe is that sometimes it doesn't fully pick up all the dust with one sweep and I end up just pushing it around a bunch before it can finally stick onto the sponge. But it's easy to rinse off and I haven't had an issue with piling or breaking like the magic eraser does. ... show more

This is okay - it's sort of a rubbery, tacky sponge. It's not any better or worse than a regular sponge. Definitely no miracle cleaner. Moisten, wring, and wipe up your messes. It's not extra absorbent.

The Damp Clean Duster Sponge is really an interesting concept for dusting. They arrived sealed in individual bags and were pre-moistened, ready for use. I dusted my kitchen island and it did a nice job of both dusting and some scrubbing. I did notice after some scrubbing that the sponge started to disintegrate a bit. individually wrapped for freshness 😅 Sharpie for size scale, not huge. grooves not as deep as I expected. nice squish and density (but ick smell). 6 pk a value with the solid reusability. I like that it grabs up the itty bits that I feel like my washcloths just push around sometimes.

    • Great multiple use cleaning sponge - I keep in kitchen and both bathrooms
These are great cleaning sponges! They are each individually sealed, and come out of the package damp and ready to use. They arrived in my house on bathroom cleaning day, so they got a good workout! They don't really work well on chrome, but dusting the baseboards and wiping down the shower/tub after spraying, well....they are just the bomb! They are easy to rinse out and look good as new when done. I am able to twist out the water, with no damage or tearing of the sponge. These are equally wonderful to use in the kitchen! I can wipe crumbs off of a counter, and they stick to the sponge instead of pushing said crumbs around like the dish rag or microfiber cloths do. I baked cookies today, and they were really nice to use to get the flour off of the counter. One note, if you wipe up spilled turmeric with these they will stain - but I haven't found anything yet that resists turmeric. I'm just glad to use this to clean up the numeric powder instead of a good dish towel. They also work really nicely on window tracks, but do not work at all on sliding door tracks - I will continue to search for the perfect tool for that. All in all, I consider this a great find, value priced for 6 and works well. I will purchase again when these quit working, and highly recommend them. ... show more

    • dusts and cleans like a pro!
This is an amazing little sponge! On your typical sponge-clean projects - sinks, counters, stove, etc - it does a good job. But I tried it on some of the areas that the plain sponge is not at all successful . Car upholstery with dog hair: I can not believe it gets all that hair. Sweeps it up and holds it. Had to clean it multiple times! I had friends ride in the seat afterwards and there was no hair stuck on their clothing. Better than those sticky sheets on the roll! I have put a sponge in the car in a sealed container so I can use it every time the dog rides with me! Ceiling fan blades: I have been using a microfiber "feather" duster & thought I was getting things clean. I used the sponge and couldn't believe how much dust was still there! The only drawback is that I have to stand on a mini ladder to clean it, but it's sooo worth it. Textured ceiling: Spiderwebs seem to be inevitable in the home, and the webs on my textured ceiling were difficult to remove, even with the duster or vacuum. Enter this little sponge. Again, have to use the mini ladder, but it grabs the webs completely. Textured ceilings are tough to clean, but this sponge has made it easy. Easy to clean, rinsing off with water. I have used the sponge 10 or 12 times, washing each time. I also wring it out, twisting it, and despite that, it still looks new! Overall, these little sponges are terrific. I am giving 5 stars because they are so good, clean things that are a headache with ease, and a bargain compared to the basic sponge. The ladder need is just not the sponges fault! I was hoping these sponges would help me easily clean a fan and a part of my treadmill that have slotted areas that are hard to reach. The sponges really didn't do much for me, wet or dry. I even cut the sponge to make the indentations deeper. Based on my experience, I don't think this product is any better or worse than a regular household sponge. ... show more

    • Okay but not magic eraser
These do work sort of like the magic eraser but not quite as good. I think the design was meant to be easier to hold and to get into small spaces, but I find it kind of awkward. I would like it to be smaller and flatter. The flat part is not good for scrubbing, it's good for wiping in One direction but to go back and forth it sticks. The ridged rounded side you can scrub back and forth with. It does clean without a cleaner just wet and wrung out or you can use a cleaner of your choice. Not real good on greasy surfaces like the back of the stove. It will do just not the best thing ever. ... show more
