The instructions weren't understandable. Once put together I loved it. Took longer then needed because the instructions weren't clear. I had to do a lot of screwing and unscrewing.

There are quite a few of these steel raised frames on Amazon, they are pretty incredible for storage, not to mention way cheaper than a box spring + conventional frame. I had an old tired box spring under one of my queen beds and this allowed me to toss it in the trash. And in the end, the extra storage space is so welcome for our smaller rooms. For this particular frame, the parts were well labeled, the frame was easy to assemble in about an hour, and it was very sturdy when complete. One thing that set this frame apart was that it integrated the anti slide stoppers into the frame design. With many other frames you have to get additional brackets… more parts and more cost. All told, this makes this particular frame a great value. It’s not without issues though… The anti slide brackets sit on the outside of the frame if you assemble as the instructions state, for my queen bed this left a big gap on each side. To get around this I flipped the bars at the foot of the bed to get the bracket on the inside. This made it snug and prevented the brackets from scraping you if you slide off the bed a certain way. I would recommend you measure your mattress and flip the parts from the beginning of needed. Another annoying thing was that the included Allen keys were soft and rounded out for me. Finally, and this is an issue with most of the frames of this design, the corners of the frame and squared off instead of rounded… unlike every mattress I have ever owned…. So you end up having this steel structure sticking out at each corner, ready to attack your toes and shins. To deal with this, I had to apply foam protectors on the vertical leg and corner at the top. Not a deal breaker, but annoying. Ultimately, this is a good buy and I would recommend it. ... show more

I was looking for a not so expenseive bed frame for a twin bed for my step daughter, and came across this frame. It wasn't too expensive, assembly was quick and fairly easy with one person, and bonus points for not being too high off the ground! I will say that the frame itself was slightly larger than the mattress that we have on it, but I believe this is a feature so that it can accommodate the longer twin sized mattresses. In addition, it also has mattress "bumpers" so that the mattress can't move or slide off the frame which I thought that was great addition. I currently don't have a headboard installed on this, but it does come with holes drilled out for a headboard if you wanted to add one later.
