I was very hesitant to buy a bed online without having touched it or seen it. I took the leap and assembled this bed to hold our new king size nectar mattress. We are 3 weeks in and it is incredibly sturdy. I have not heard a sound from it and it supports the mattress well without a box spring. Our five year old had jumped on it and it didn’t flex or squeak. It was difficult to find a frame that could support the weight of mattress, me,my husband, sometimes our daughter and our 90 pound Doberman, because most frames only support 500 pounds. love the bedframe ,but it is obvious none of their engineers have tried to put frame together while reading the install direction they ship with product, would buy this frame with headboard again, actually have plans to buy at least one more very soon. the frame is very solid and makes no noises

Look here, Compared to what others have said, My Bedframe does NOT squeak. Its silent and sturdy. Im not a thin woman, I am Thick and beautiful. My Partner is the same. Together we are about 500ish lbs. Plus our dogs a Rottweiler and Great Pyr, and 2 cats sleep on this bed as well. Even during. "fun" Times. the bed does not squeak! My previous frame was around 9 years old. and FINALLY broke. so I found this frame. and This Frame IS amazing. 10/10 would recommend (Granted I got it at $180 at the time No idea if it will go lower or higher) ... show more

Okay, I have never had to take pics of a product before but I felt it was warranted. The main reason I bought this product was that the metal slats were inset or low on the frame to give the mattress room to sit down into the frame and not slide around. However, I believe the unit I received was manufactured incorrectly. The pre-installed legs riveted onto the folder metal frame were installed upside down. This results in the metal slats being flush or flat with the sides of the bed so the mattress will slide everywhere. (See images) Trust me, I took the thing apart because I thought I installed the sides of the bed upside down, backwards, or on the wrong side. That's not the issue. There is no way to flip the sides of the bed upside down because the pre-installed legs only go one direction. The U shaped holders for the slat are clearly lower to one side, and if the pre-installed legs were pointing the correct direction this wouldn't be an issue. I have no inclination to ship this heavy a$$ thing back and get a refund, but I am very disappointed in how this thing was manufactured. It needs a tool to remove rivets and replace them so I could reverse the directions of the legs. Very disappointing for nearly $200. ** UPDATE > Actually the issue is that the welded U shaped holders of the slats are out of place and need to be lower. If the legs were reversed then these U shaped welds would then be upside down. ... show more

Assembly is not too bad if you are good with picture instructions and attention to detail. Instructions had no text and you have to pay close attention the the orientation of pieces in the pictures (which side is forward, which way the bolt is going, etc.) It looks nice even though there were some scratches to the paint. It's not very noticeable once the bedding is in place. You could probably touch it up if you want. Our mattress slid around a lot when we first put it on but an anti-slip rug pad fixed it 100%. Didn't really creak at the beginning but after several months it does. Maybe tightening the bolts would help but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Overall, it's a good purchase if you're looking for a sturdy, inexpensive bed frame. ... show more

Most of the assembly went fine but a couple of holes didn't line up just right but was able to get the bolts in. The headboard was a little tricky but my wife figured it out for me. We like the platform, it is well made and sturdy. The mattress would slide a little when getting on it so I put some Velcro strips on the frame and no more sliding. ... show more
