I was slightly concerned when the box showed up with this frame, but, all the parts and everything you need...including the wrench...was included in the well packed box. Assembly was fairly easy and the instructions were pretty good. I think I had it assembled in just over an hour. Everything fit together well and the frame is very sturdy when you are done. There is a nice padded headboard that can be height adjusted when building the frame. The side rails are covered well so you don't bash a shin into them in the middle of the night. The box spring we have is just a bit too big for the frame, but it's not a huge deal. The box does make this a taller bed to get in to. If you just use a mattress, you would be fine. As for underbed storage, there is ample room to slide some shallow tubs underneath. You get about 8 inches of height to work with. Not a lot of squeaks and creaks with this frame while sleeping. Again, this thing is very solidly built. The price can't be beat for this bed frame and assembly was pretty simple. It looks good and definitely works as expected. Attractive bed for the money, well worth the reasonable price. The headboard is evenly padded and feels like a high quality upholstery. The height of the headboard is adjustable up and down by about 5 inches. Can be helpful to fit different mattress sizes or room requirements. Feels super sturdy once assembled and does not squeak or make any noise, but I haven't had it for long. Storage is not great, but there is some. The platform of the bed is 14 inches off the ground, but there is not 14 inches of storage underneath because the sides of the bed are taking about half of this space. There's really only about 8 inches of room to slide anything under the bed from any side. Assembly takes some time, but it's not difficult. Helps a lot if you have an impact driver and some sockets on hand. A single person can do it if they get creative with supporting some of the first parts while fastening them together, but it would be a lot easier with two people. Overall, very happy with this and consider it to be a very good buy at the current price. ... show more

Screws were difficult to deal with, because the hardware in the holes aren't centered well. Some holes were still covered by fabric and needed to be cut in order to put the frame together. The wood from some of the parts of the frame were shedding pieces. The wood for the side bars didn't seem very sturdy, so I'm not sure how long it will last. But it was cheap. I'd give it a year and maybe two or three if I'm lucky. Otherwise, I'm happy enough with how it looks, and it doesn't squeak. It's definitely not a great product. But it's seems okay enough. One annoyance is that Amazon has Vietnam listed as country of origin, but the box says Made in China. It is crummy that Amazon does nothing to ensure that seller provided honest information (or followed any necessary safety regulations, etc.) ... show more

    • Solid Bed Frame- Good Assembly Directions- Not Great for Under-The-Bed Storage

I assembled this frame today and here are a few takeaways. Assembly of this bed is really a two person job, you will need somebody to hold parts in place while you secure the screws. The directions for assembly are very good. The included allen wrench is total junk made of soft metal and it stripped out halfway through the job. Plan on using/getting a better allen wrench to do the job. I used my personal allen wrench set and we had no issues afterwards. The headboard has adjustable height for different thickness of mattresses, which is convenient. Once assembled, the bed is very sturdy and it looks nice. The bottom has three center support bars vs. just one, so be aware that under-the-bed storage is more limited with this frame than frames that only have one center support bar. ... show more

This is was set up in 45 mins and thats what I love. The company makes it super easy and straightforward with the set up. You dont need a wild toolkit at all. Its sturdy even after 3-4 adults sit on it, it moves around the bed room well if we ever wanted to redecorate. highly recommended

First off I love how "easy" it was ro put together...lol Allen Wrench away lol. The supports bar weren't long enough so the bed keep falling then it finally broke... sad it didn't work out.

I've been sleeping on this bed for several nights now, and I'm really pleased with it! This is a really attractive bed frame and it was fairly easy to put together. The description says 45 minutes for two people. I did it by myself and took about two hours; I was moving pretty slowly to make sure I didn't miss any steps, so I think the 45 minute estimate is solid. Speaking of solid-- this feels like a good, sturdy frame. No creaking or rocking. All the pieces fit together well and it's supporting my queen sized mattress with no problems. The only issue I've had is that the feet left some scratches on my wood floor when I moved the bed. I'm considering putting felt furniture pads underneath to prevent more scratches in the future. ... show more
