  • They changed the Weekly Preview Pages
Color: Grey 4.0
I got one of these as a gift & noticed right away the weekly planner section had this nice big space to put all the professional & personal task for the week ahead. AND it had a way to track how consistent I was finishing my big 3 each day of the week. I've been ordering replacements for a while. Then, when I ordered THIS gray version, I was surprised to see it had been 'revised' and no longer had the same format on the weekly pages. I was so bummed! I had to look for an 'older version' that was color to find one that had the pages allowing me to track my progress like I had in the past. Not sure what I will do when I can't find the old ones any more? They are literally the only planner that has a way to assess daily progress at the end of each week, with a full two-pages per day with space for all the important stuff. And it looks professional! Ugh- I am SO sad they changed them! ... show more

  • Great product, but received the 2020 edition, not the 2018 edition as listed in the description!
Color: Grey 4.0
I purchased this specifically to get the 2018 edition with rolling quarters. The product description says "2018". When I opened the package today, I discovered that this is the new edition - that has replaced rolling quarters with a much less useful 12 month view that won't be useful to keep track of the major events and appts beyond the current quarter. I am so disappointed. Please change the description to reflect the copyright date of the current edition being shipped. ... show more

  • Stupidly expensive todo list! A plain lined notebook is much better and less expensive.
This is stupidly expensive for what it is. Let me break it down for you, so you know exactly what you are getting before you buy it. This is 300ish page moleskin style notebook with primarily daily templates, week reviews, and goal planning templates. None of them are numbered, you have to write the date everywhere. It's not a full year, it's 90ish days. Go to the website for this planner and you can view it before you buy it. Basically, let me break the method down for you so you don't have to spend 40 bucks to be in the "overachievers" club. You can do it on your own with a spiral binder and a pen. You don't need to spend $160 per year to use a planner when you are going to be writing everything in it anyways. So here's what you do: Buy a lined notebook. Whatever style you like - college, moleskin, legal pad... whatev. Write your goals on the 1st page. No more than five or so. Number them. There you got it. That's it (that's the big secret- you set goals). Plan your five goals (for the year/quarter/full moon) on the next five sheets - next steps, motivation, etc. Whatever you want to write. Don't be too detailed, just enough to get started. Pick the top 3 things you want to work on this week. You could refer to your main goals or not, but you probably should. What are you going to get done toward your main goals, this week? After that, start your daily pages. Write the date at the top of that sucker. There are 3 lists on your daily page Top 3 Todos, Other todos, and appointments. Make some headings and you are off to the freaking races. Use those lists. Write down your top three todos for the day, write your other todos, and write your appointments for the day - pull em out of google Calendar or where ever you pull your hair appointments down. Now do that 7 times (a full week). Awesome. Good job. You wrote your stuff in a notebook - now you can look back and marvel at your awesomeness. Reflect for two pages - google some weekly review checklist or something - make some new plans for the next week. Repeat. That's basically it. You are welcome. ... show more

  • new favorite planner!
Color: Grey 4.0
I have been an avid user of journals/planners for decades, this one is by FAR my favorite, I knew as soon as I saw it that I would love it, and Im on my second one now. Yes, its expensive, but for me this is a nice luxury spend that feels like a worthwhile investment in myself. (And it lasts 3 months, I spent $50 at a stadium on a pizza and 2 margaritas and that only lasted 2 hrs.) The format is clean and logical, and just the right balance between detailed enough without being overkill. I love that it helps me focus on 10 'goals' at a time, and that I can start at any date I want (although the older version had 12 goals I noticed). I love that the lines are small and efficient. I was surprised to find this version is easier to write in than the spiral version. I like taking the time to really be intentional with what I want and how Im going to get from A to B. The weekly preview is great for preparing mentally for the week ahead on Sunday, and the daily pages have a notes section AND are great for maximizing your lists and leftover minutes here and there. But beyond productivity, this journal for me is about alignment, about being intentional and correcting those little ways I get mindlessly off track. Can't say I would change anything about this planner. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Needs higher quality paper, especially for fountain pen use
Color: Grey 4.0
I found this planner very helpful in structuring goals and tasks. It really helped me advance projects and get through the distractions of an overly long to-do list. My main disappointment is the low quality paper that is used. My fountain pens have issues with both bleed through and feathering, depending slightly on which brand of ink i happened to be using. This may also be an issue for other pen or marker types that use more liquid ink. For a planner product at this price point, I would like a higher quality paper before purchasing this again. Otherwise I'd be forced to change pens just for this planner. ... show more

  • I buy it (and love it) for the daily pages
Color: Grey 4.0
I’m on my 7th Full Focus Planner. I’m a lifelong planner junkie, so I still have tried other planners over the last couple of years (including a $70 custom one). But I always end up coming back to this planner in a matter of weeks. The size is perfect, and the format of the daily pages is the only one that seems to work for me. It’s simple enough: - the day of the week preprinted, so I just put the date; - a schedule with half-hour lines and the right amount of space to mark meetings and plans; - a call-out area for high priority items; - a to-do list to capture all of the tasks that pile up during the day; and - a FULL page for notes, which I usually use to record notes from meetings, overflow to-do list items, things that crop up that I need to [temporarily] remember, etc. I have not found any other planner with the right balance of space, and that doesn’t require me to work within an overly segmented daily-page structure. Unfortunately, the same can no longer be said about their weekly planning pages. The old version had a full page for weekly notes, which I used for figuring out what I’d be doing for different projects that week. Now the space has its own overly segmented structure that I never use. And I don’t want to use the back pages for that purpose, because I don’t have enough room/organization for breaking it down week-by-week. But if you want to brainstorm your weekly plans for sleeping, eating, exercising, socializing, and relaxing ... well, they’ve got you covered. And maybe I’ll try repurposing that section at some point. I also don’t use the front material much anymore. The format for goal-planning just doesn’t work for me. I wish they weren’t so structured. And the monthly calendars are always forgotten because they’re off on their own. But the “system” might work for others. I’m going to stick with Full Focus Planner simply because of the daily pages. I don’t regret it, because it really helps me to manage my daily workload. And I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it to someone who cares most of all about managing their day-to-day work life. ... show more

  • Focus planner with added leather cover
Color: Grey 4.0
The media could not be loaded. I love this product. I like that you have space to review your previous week, what worked, what do you need to change, what do you need to add or do differently... the paper is good quality and I prefer the off white as it is easier on my eyes. This planner is what I wish I had 4 years ago. The organization flows really well. I have purchased 3 leather covers for it, because I like the look more than anything... but the full focus planner had a size that was just a little too tall for the leather covers. Found a small company on Amazon that said leather cover for full focus planner. I do not work for the company. - promise. I am a medical student. But I absolutely love both the planner and the leather cover. Wanted to show both as I have spent 2 months buying covers that did not fit. The cover was about 50 bucks and the planner was close to that price... though it seems high priced for a planner, the planner has the best layout I have seen. I really like that there is one page dedicated to notes opposite to your hourly routine. Love this ... show more

  • Completely new to Michael Hyatt, but I LOVE this planner/goal-tracker!!
I've always loved organizers. I started carrying a Daytimer when I was 14 (year section, month section, day section), and that system worked really well for me until adulthood. Then, suddenly, those calendar systems didn't seem relevant. They weren't flexible enough for the ever-changing plans of the work world (my boss doesn't write a syllabus for me!), and they didn't capture my priorities. When you're a student, your priorities are pretty much set for you. You go to school, do your homework, maybe do sports or music or a part-time job (all of which are scheduled for you), and then hang out with your friends, who are always nearby and have time to hang out. Since then, I've experimented with about 30 different systems, including a dozen online methods. I finally gave up and created my own, using 1 zippered notebook for my daily tasks and errands and another to track my long-term goals, health measures, budget, and so forth. That has worked out okay, but it's clunky. And I didn't find a way to visualize my priorities and figure out how to be disciplined but also flexible. I am incredibly impressed with the FFP. I didn't know anything about Michael Hyatt until I read a book of his recently, and I have no connections to him or his company, but the system he put together is really brilliant. He's figured out how to create a compact planner that combines and prioritizes long-term goals, short-term goals, and daily tasks. His daily layout is very similar to the layout I'd created myself, with a small vertical section to show appointments, to-do list, and free-form section. The part that's new for me is the constant review and reflection. Also, I love, love, love that he includes weekends! It drives me crazy when planners don't have them. If I don't structure my weekends, they completely vanish on me. I have to plan my weekends if I want to make sure I'm socializing, pursuing hobbies, and getting household errands done. Okay, so there's all of that, but let me say just a bit about the book itself. It's very well designed. It has all the features I look for in planner-style notebooks: elastic to hold the cover down, sturdy cover that's water-resistant, tight binding, neutral color, AND an envelope in the back cover. This is so important. At times, I've pasted my own envelope into planners, because I always want to have some stamps, envelopes and checks with me. I also like to carry repositionable tabs for marking sections. Apparently, marking sections is important to MH as well, because his book has 2 ribbons instead of 1. This book won't totally replace my system, because I still want a tangible place to record my budget and health markers. But it replaces everything else I've been using. And I'm very excited to see if the weekly goals review increases my accomplishments. Right now, I'm only hitting about 20% of my long-term goals. I know this is a long and rambling post, but I'm just so impressed. Oh, one last thing is that he has you plan 2 morning rituals and 2 evening rituals, 1 set to bracket your awake time (meditation, exercise, etc.), and 1 set to bracket your hours at work (filling water bottle, cleaning up your desk, etc.). ... show more

  • So expensive, but so worth it.
Color: Grey 4.0
What kind of crazy person would pay $50 for a three month planner? Well, me, apparently. Yes, a $1 notebook could accomplish the same thing, but will I use a notebook? Probably not. For the right person, this planner is totally worth $200/year. Sounds bonkers, but if it keeps me organized, on track, and allows me to achieve my goals then $200 is a steal. If you can get yourself to do all the same things with a $1 notebook, then all the power to you. Unfortunately, I cannot and the FFP is the tool that does allow me to do it, so here I am. I have been using the FFP on and off for a few years. Just started picking it back up with a new business venture I am doing. Was getting overwhelmed and disorganized again, so I remembered about the planner. I had used it before when I was also working as a nurse, and it was tough to keep up with with shift work. It's really designed more for people working typical business hours, or close to them. So, I would use it for a bit, go a few days without, and then I would get behind on it and just kinda stop. However, this go around my schedule is far more in line with what the planner is designed for, and good god does it help. I feel far more on top of things and less overwhelmed. I literally carry it everywhere with me during the work day, and it reduces my work-related anxiety so much. ... show more

Color: Oatmeal
Very customizable with detailed pages for any goal or task. It's not the most intuitive functionally, but aesthetically appealing, high quality construction, and the perfect size for any bag. The order of sections and filling in all calendar dates yourself while on a quarters system made it a bit confusing at first, but once you figure out what's most efficient for you, it's well worth the price! I've always used Moleskine planners which are very simple and straightforward. ... show more

  • Good but not great
Color: Grey 4.0
This was a good, useful planner, but it was not as great as I would hope for a $50 planner. Some annoying aspects had me bail 3 weeks early to try a new planner. Pros: - Day on two pages, which allows room for notes and additional to do lists - Goal section at the beginning is focused and helpful - Undated - Binding well made, held up to being thrown in car, backpack, work bag, suitcase. - Uncluttered spine and cover. Cons - Feels bloated. At over 300p for 90 days, it is thick and heavy. - Despite this, the heft is not due to fine paper. For this price and weight, adding higher quality paper would have added value. Ghosting from ink-rich pens was distracting. - 15 lined notes pages at back seemed excessive - No write-in index, despite numbered pages - Would have preferred the week on 2 pages spreads to be after the month spreads, for an easier at-a-glance view of schedule - and would have liked hourly breakdown there. Coming immediately ahead of each weeks daily pages was not useful to me and am ending with most of these unused. ... show more

  • Would buy again.
Color: Grey 4.0
It took me a year to decide to buy this planner. I’m glad I did. I originally heard about it through someone I highly respect for both their productivity and ability to prioritize and balance work with the more important family life. When I saw the price of the planner and reasons for negative reviews I chose not to buy it. Then I came across the Michael Hyatt Free to Focus book in Audible and used a point to buy it. The book was good and included free printables to help get your ideas, priorities, and needed work organized. I looked at the planner again and thought I could get it all done myself with the printables and the knowledge of simplicity of what the planner is. What I discovered is the planner is worth it. Simple, yes, but well organized, and set up to make you think about your year, your, months, weeks, and days and have it all in one place. Yes it will only hold one quarter. BUT I think the habit and mindset it creates is the true value. Once you get in the groove you may very well be able to get by without it. But it will help you learn how to focus, and what to focus on. It’s worth buying and using at least once. I highly recommend the Free To Focus book as well, to help you grasp the big picture concept and point of the planner. I don’t regret the purchase at all. ... show more
