I bought this as a start-of-summer treat for my daughter who is a total fish and loves being in the water as much as possible. Her eyes lit up when I surprised her with it. The fit is “almost” perfect. She’s 10 ½ and her face is just a smidge too small for the mask, but that’s a good thing – room to grow! It works but since her face doesn’t seal just right yet some water does get into the facemask eventually, but for now she just holds it where the seal is faulty and it works perfect. The design is nice, it came with a mesh travel bag and some earplugs and a mount for a gopro which is cool. I would definitely measure your childs face before ordering (which I did not do) but I’m overall pleased with this. ... show more

You can breathe through your nose and mouth, although I try to mainly use my mouth. Seals well, doesn’t fog, and allows a wide range of vision. Snorkeling is even more fun in this mask!

In all honesty, I was very intrigued by the shape and design of this mask when I first saw it but after using it I couldn’t be happier! The fun animal face on top is super cute and my kids adore it. I'm still a little surprised at how well this works. And the kids love it. The biggest issue is getting it on. Kids are not know for being particularly cooperative, much less when they're already in/near the pool and anxious to get back to playing. To get this properly fitted to a kid's head, putting it on has a tendency to really pull hair and require quite a bit of learning in Newtonian physics. Once the kids get it figured out (which sometimes takes more tries than one might expect), they seem ok with the process of putting it on. But aside from the 'putting on' element, it's very well designed and built, and the kids love the sudden superpower of simply being able to see and breathe above and below water without any transition. ... show more

I bought this to be able to breathe through my nose while swimming laps. It works fine for casual pace of swimmin. However, as soon as my heart rate went up and I needed to take deep breaths, my own breathing would create enough of a vacuum to bring the floats into place to block the snorkel and I would not be able to to get any air. ... show more

Update : 2nd one was garbage Second mask I purchased for my husband made the mistake to not check it after purchasing as the first one was great . Put it I. Our suitcase for our trip a month out. Excited to get in the ocean and it didn’t work. Blew bubbles out the side , would not tighten up and create a good seal. Same size as first one. Could not use it and return window was closed so we can basically throw it out! Very frustrating! I had a regular older type mask for years and decided to buy one of these new ones and all I can say is it’s amazing the difference it enables you to breathe so much better with this and you can see so much more so many more fish because of the vision . Definitely will never go back to the old type anymore and will be ordering my husband one in a few days for our next trip as we fought over this one last trip 😀 ... show more
