  • This sprayer does not compromise quality for price!
Style: Spray System
Great sprayer. Has all the features you look for, and it comes at a great price too. Easy to clean, versatility in accessories/tips, sprays multiple materials. It's a little loud, but that means its working. The paint reservoir canister is easy to attach and detach. As is the hose which is easy to work with, but is a little heavy, be ready to have some sore arms The minor inconveniences is nothing compared to the ease of use you get from this unit, not to mention the finishes you can achieve. The learning curve is nothing compared to some sprayers with inferior equipment and parts. All in all its an awesome addition to your tools whether you paint or varnish your projects. ... show more

  • Great quality and easy to use
Style: Spray System
I decided to learn woodworking its a new hobby for me and I’m a complete beginner. I had never used a paint sprayer in my life. I build a cabinet and wanted to try spraying it to get a professional finish. I first purchased a budget sprayer for under a 100 bucks. It lasted for 3 tanks of paint the gasket that seals the paint container became misshapen for some reason and would not seal the tank also the gun would spit a little blob of paint occasionally that required me to roll it out. I then doubled up and bought a 200 dollar sprayer it was also 100% plastic including the tip. I had problems with it from the beginning. It put out a lot of air to paint ratio. I ended up kicking up some dust that stuck to my wet paint. The worst part is when I was finishing up The sprayer would not stop it would keep spraying even though I had fully released the trigger. I was pretty frustrated then I saw this Fuji on Amazon on sale so I decided to take back both plastic sprayers and order The Fuji. All I can say is this unit is hands down superior to those plastic sprayers I was using. The easy adjustment to get the best coverage and pattern and paint flow is great. This sprayer lays paint down with perfection. It’s super easy to clean and the results make me guy that has never used a paint gun in his life look like an expert. I highly recommend saving up spending a little more buying this sprayer I’m a very satisfied customer ... show more

  • and so far its been great. I've ued sprayers before
Style: Spray System
I've been using this for about a month, and so far its been great. I've ued sprayers before, with very mixed success. I have read HVLP is the way to go, so I decided to take the plunge with this one. It was a good move. They say the sprayer is ready to use out of the box, and they are correct. I did not have to make any adjustments when i first started to get a nice layer of finish down. I used a moderately thick water-based polyurethane finish, and it went on beautifully, with the nozzle that comes with the unit. Likes: 1. The manual is great. It is well written and gets right to the point. I was refreshed by the honesty of the manual, especially when they talk about using this with latex house paint. They say it can be done but they advice that another type of sprayer might be better suited to that task, They are not trying to hype this device, they are trying to help the user get a good coating down, and I appreciated everything in their manual.. It's concise as well. 2. The system goes together quickly, there is no set-up. All of the parts are solid and substantial. The hose connects with threaded fittings, the sprayer parts are open and easy to see the compressor is not too heavy but really creates a nice flow of air. It is simple to see and undertand. 3.Adjustments, unlike most sprayers, are fairly obvious and it is easy to see their effect. 4. the spray pattern is really easy to control, and can be made into an ellipse for panels or a round spot for narrow face frames. I did notice the volume of material remains the same regardless of the pattern, so the coating thickness for the oround spot is thicker unless you either sweep the sprayer faster, or throtle down the delivery. Both patterns were clean and even. 5. The polyurethane II used was pretty thick, much thicker than lacquer, not as thick as latex house paint. I had absolutely no trouble getting it to spray evenly and consistently. I suspect their cautions about using latex are over-cautious. This unit seemed to handle a viscous liquid easily. 6. The quality of the coatings was excellent - very even, easy to apply. 7. Clean up was trivial. I rinsed the can out, filled it with water and then sprayed water into a can. I emptied the can, put in fresh water and repeated this twie. It takes about 2 minutes, and sems to work. In a month I have not had any build-up of stuff inside the unit. My older sprayers required significant disassembly for cleaning, this has not required any disassembly. Dislikes (these are very minor). The compressor is a little loud (but nothing compared to my construction compressor I use with the other sprayer). After an hour it starts to get loud, so I wore ear protection. The hose is heavy duty (which I like) but that means it is not infinitely flexible, so it is hard to set the unit down without the hose pulling it over. You really need to set up a loop to hang the device on in-between coating. I set it on the bench and twice bounced the sprayer off the follor. I can say that nothing bad happened even after I stupidly did this, so the sprayer is robust. I'm glad I got this, its a good addition to my shop. I am looking forward to finshing again (I used to dread finishing). ... show more
