I ended up buying these because my nosy neighbors always like to look into my home when I have the door open. I live in a townhouse complex and these are perfect. As you can see the first picture shows without it the second picture shows half of it is completed and then the third picture shows when my son went outside and took a picture from the outside. You cannot see in. I’m seeing a lot of reviews that people say that you can see inside during the night, but this is a one-way film so when the light is on inside your home, YES you will be able to see in during the night. During the daytime, you will not be able to see in. I was also able to install it on my own with no issues as long as you follow the directions you should be fine. ... show more

I am extremely disappointed with this product. I purchased this roll of window tint for my back sliding door, expecting a straightforward installation as advertised. I followed the instructions precisely, even watching the video via the QR code to ensure I didn’t miss a step. I thoroughly cleaned the window and sprayed it generously with the soapy water solution as directed, but the entire process was a complete nightmare. First, the spray bottle provided was utterly useless. It barely worked, and I had to use my own just to move forward. Then, on my very first swipe to smooth the tint, the handle on the squeegee snapped in half. The tools included in this kit are clearly made of cheap, flimsy materials and cannot handle even the lightest pressure. Even worse, the tint itself was impossible to work with. It wouldn’t apply evenly, no matter how careful I was. It bubbled and wrinkled at every turn and simply would not smooth out despite multiple attempts. I spent hours trying to make it work, but the poor quality of the film and tools made it a completely frustrating and fruitless effort. This product was a waste of time and money, and I couldn’t even complete the installation. I feel completely let down and expect a full refund. I do not recommend this product to anyone. The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a window film to darken my rooms, instead I found this. Plus I'm upstairs, I don't mind the heat. I just wanted to be able to see out my windows. I read the reviews, I was scared cuz I'm the ONLY person doing this. I'm seriously proud of myself over this 😊 I suppose 2 people would be ok, it's just me. So I HAVE no choice but to do it myself, I thought this through many times. Had this all figured out how I was gonna do it, till I put the film up against the window to see how it fit. To my surprise, it fit good & my plan would work. I ey the window down like I was suppose to, I peeled the clear plastic away & it stuck. ..... Like that's it, I had to peel it away(which is the HARDEST) part. Once I figured out how to do this, which.... Is easy, I was good. Wet down the window, till water is running down the window. Then carefully put the film on it, y'all don't need 2 people. There will be bubbles, don't worry bout them. Make sure it fits the way y'all want it to, then cut the film of the roll ....... Yes, I left mine in the roll to see how it fit. It worked great, my ONLY complaint is there isn't enough on that roll to do ALL my windows. I got 1 frame done, I had to order 5 more rolls for my other windows. That's ok, I'm gonna see this afternoon how good this stuff is. I'm out proud of myself for doing things that according to society "y'all need a guy in y'all life" no I don't. I can do this ALL by myself, I've been self sufficient since I was a kid. I'm 53, I did the exact opposite of what every review said to do. I'm not a perfectionist, I'm germophic. I will make sure no bubbles are left by the end of the day. I'm pretty happy with this, so far 😊 by the by, I live in Oklahoma where it's 110 out right now. So if this helps with keeping my upstairs unit cool & runs my air less (which is set to 80) then I'll be happy. UPDATE::::::::: I went through & fixed them so they don't over lap, it wasn't that bad. It took me a minute, but y'all can still do this even with 1 person. I'm no where near perfectionist, if y'all get the window wet enough (good luck on this, as y'all are spraying it's drying 🤦 it can be done. Maybe NOT in 110 heat) I got them done, I'll tape the corners down cuz that's what it is driving me crazy. Even on the 1s I didn't redo, that's ok. I'll tape them down, other then that...... The sun is on me yet I don't feel the heat, I like being able to see outside. I like that my air isn't running constantly. This was worth the price, I got it on sale plus click the 6% discount & it was only $9.99......a roll, that's not bad. I got 5 more rolls, so I have extra. I'm working on getting an ESA & service dog, I'll see next year how they handle this. If need be I'll UPDATE on that too. 😊 I will buy again if I need more ... show more

I have done a lot of car window tint installs as well as the static cling for in houses and removable for cars but this was by far the hardest thing I have ever had to work with! As for blocking out light it’s great but I literally lathered it in glass cleaner the film and the window itself and as soon as I pulled apart the cellophane it instantly crumbled in and stuck to its self all over the place It works great! But definitely buy a little extra in case that happens to you as well you can try again In my case I bought it on a whim and only bought the exact amount I needed so the top looks like shit and the bottom looks greats hahaha ... show more

I look at several reviews and I decided it was inexpensive so didn't expect much ..Not a one way mirror /privacy sort of from 6-8ft away during the day yes will give you enough privacy but if you really up close you will see trough from the inside you can see out with a slight gray/dark tint ...remind you self at night time when the light inside your house you loose all the protection of a tinted window/door. Installation was fairly straightforward if you ever done any sort of tinting car window or Phone screen protector same process..tip pre cut your film before trying to install on the glass and be 1/16 -1/8 shorter to allow water to escape make it a lot easier the dealing with the whole roll of tint Tools supplied with the film are ok enough to get the job done. Overall satisfied wish would offer a bit more privacy but I guess will keep it for now if not I will take it down and put frosted film. As far the number of stars if fairly a solid 3 pricing and quality ... show more
