Initial reaction after a couple days. Shipping: came 3 days later than quoted, but this was FedEx fault, not Seller. Packaging: Best I’ve ever seen, every piece meticulously wrapped, secure, and well cushioned. Assembly: All tools needed are included (other than you might need a pair of pliers and a small piece of rubber to squeeze axle to allow you to loosen axle nuts to install wheel). Excellent instructions ( BTW, front fender is packed above rear fender). 45 min job done at a leisurely pace. Anyone with very basic hand tool skills should have no problem assembling. Don’t squeeze brake handle once you’ve pulled out brake pad spacer until wheel is installed. Charging: Came 80% charged, Charger decent quality. First ride: Even on lowest pedal assist, assist is strong. Very solid, stable. Excellent Brakes and suspension. I’m 200 LB and I an satisfied with its ability to take off on a hill. It’s heavy, but you don’t notice weight while in motion. Headlight is very bright. Color display is bright, controls intuitive. TBC: I’ll do my best to remember to report back after some time & usage. All in all, very satisfied with the bike so far. I won’t recommend for shorter riders. This is a big, full sized bike. Came with some nice accessories like tool kit, bike lock, touch up paint. Available add ons, front or rear basket, back rest for second rider, rear foot pegs, has mounts for water bottle holder or storage container. I’m a mechanical engineer and I selected this bike based on the welded frame design, dual suspension, and battery and motor specs. This is my second e-bike and I love this bike. It’s a little heavy but rides really smooth and is very stable. I put a seat for my daughter on the back and it’s nice because the smaller tire diameter keeps her closer to the ground so it’s stable. I did two very long trips to test out the battery and was really happy with the battery life and overall power. I can make it up a very steep hill. Unboxed and put together the bike yesterday. It was packed nicely, no damage as far as I can tell so far. Assembly took about an hour and was straight forward, the included tools were high quality! The handle bar grips are nice, the flare on them is definitely comfortable. A quick ride tells me there are some adjustments to be made, i.e. brakes, seat height, etc.. Overall this seems like a solid bike for the price. 4 stars for this one, as the top speed was under what is listed, the seat could be better (I'll likely replace this myself) and it seems the new model has a larger battery, of which I just missed out on by 2 months. This bike is absolutely beautiful and works great! But it’s just to heavy for my little wife. The only thing that didn’t work was the horn. Very strong, runs like a moped. Update; this seller approved for us to return the bike, I boxed it up but was never able to get it picked up. I even got my grandson to load it up and take to a local ups/fedx but still unable to get the proper return label. We called Amazon still no response. All I can say is this is a great bike but I thought you were able to test for so many days. I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. He is 14 and had done his research and insisted on buying this bike online instead of a local store. He has been using this bike every day and loves picking up and dropping off his friends on the backseat. Although I was originally very concerned about the safety, he has agreed to only travel short distances in the neighborhood and wear a helmet and have his passenger friend wear one too. The bike is very easy to assemble and is sturdy. It drives smoothly and is easy to maneuver. The battery lasts a long time. It also came with some accessories that my son loves. As it turned out, I had to order a part for it and that was my first experience with Fucare support. I used the number on the website and the agent immediately got in touch with me and made sure the replacement part was on its way. I have three other e bikes and have never had any issues. Within 25miles on this bike I lost power IN TRAFFIC. Allow me to stress that LOSING POWER while riding with the flow of traffic is a catastrophe. I purchased the extended warranty offered through Amazon. I would ride the bike and randomly get an error code that corresponded to "abnormal current". That is it. Abnormal current could be a number of things and I tried to inquire with this company and was able to speak to a nice lady who did not have good command of the language and it was a disaster trying to get information. I think she tried to say that it was a bad motor but I am still not sure. I had to contact Amazon to step in on the A-Z guarantee. Amazon took care of the situation. Please think carefully before you purchase this e-bike but do yourself a favor and pass on this one. ... show more
