Easy to put together, looks good, very sturdy. I would suggest however if you have a thin mattress to get something to pad it up a bit as thin mattress does go through the bottom slats along with a foot if you aren't careful. Overall very happy with this purchase

    • Mis-packed hardware - look out

I'll know more later once I've slept on it, but if the assembly is any indication, it'll be sub-par. The box was mis-packed with 2 top portions of a joint bracket, instead of the top and the bottom. I'll head to the hardware store tomorrow to jury-rig a solution, but I shouldn't need to with a brand new product. Very disappointed so far. Building this bed with an allen key means I have really sore hands today. Just use normal screws, you dopes. ... show more

I am very satisfied. I ordered the XL twin of this bed frame. It arrived promptly on the stated date. I had it assembled in under an hour, by myself, including putting the mattress and linens on, very easy assembly. I feel this was a fair value for the cost. Not all welds are pretty, but none are unsafe or unsightly. The powder coating is thin and I surface scratched it putting it together but not to bare metal. I am lying on it now and do not hear any squeaks or rattles and it feels very sturdy. If I find any issues or my guests report them I will update. By the way I am over 50, weigh over 150, and my hands are not as strong as they used to be and I still found assembly easy. ... show more

This is *almost* exactly what I was looking for. It's very sturdy, solid, and very well built. My only complaint, and the reason for why it's 4 stars instead of 5, is because it's a tiny, itty-bit squeaky when rolling from one side to the other side. Compared to other beds that really DO squeak, this is heaven to my ears, though! NOTE: The squeaking doesn't happen constantly, much at all, and is quite quiet when it does. This bed frame is better than I expected for the price, came well-packed with no issues. It is matte black and very sturdy. We purchased 2 twin XL for our guest room, the first bed was a learning curve for the assembly, and the second went together in a quarter of the time. There are no written instructions, just drawings, but it is quite doable. When assembling the headboard and footboard, I suggest leaving all the screws slightly loose until assembled, then tightening them down. If you tighten as you go it throws the alignment off. I would definitely purchase them again. Save the box in case something is wrong with the item and you can send it back for a replacement. Amazon is very good with replacements. ... show more

It’s sturdy but you can see the bolts. Difficult to put together, was missing some parts from the foot rail but they mailed me some replacements. I really appreciated it, but think about how crappy it would’ve been if they were necessary parts and had my bedroom torn apart.

It’s ok, would have liked something a bit more sturdier and substantial. Difficult to tuck the bottom part of your sheet and when you do it hangs out from underneath and you can clearly see it. If you like your comforter tucked too like we do you cannot without seeing everything hanging underneath so we have to leave it hanging over the footboard, which for us personally we do not like. ... show more
