It came a couple days early so that was nice. It didn’t take too long to put together, but we have a drill bit for this so it saved some time not using the Allen wrench. I could have sworn it was supposed to be silver but it was black. It still looks good in our room though, so I am not going to complain about that. Lots of room underneath. You could fit a jumbo suitcase under there. I tried to take a picture showing the storage space but the Amazon app was being annoying so just the one of it all put together with a California King bed on the frame. I would buy it again. It feels very stuffy and we are big people. So there is that too. ... show more

This frame was economical!! It assembled easily with 2 ppl, as the directions were explicit! My husband and I were both pleased with the results. It looked nice too!! We had to remove our boxsprings since the frame made our mattress super high and a challenge for my 5’5” legs to climb up. After a few weeks of use, the bed frame is a little squeaky at times. The headboard would be better for us if it had a solid space, as our pillows slip through the bars of the headboard. ... show more

Obviously I can look at the dimensions (and did), but I didn't realize how much difference 6" of height would make (most beds have an under mattress height of 12", while this is 18"). Even with a shallower mattress this bed is high. As it will mostly be used by elderly grandparents I needed to return to get something lower. Overall the bed seemed very sturdy when put together. This bed was easy to put together. My two teenagers and I had it done in about an hour. It came in great condition. It’s a painted metal bed and it had one piece that had a slight chip on it but we put it in the back so no one can see it. We thought the directions were easy to read and follow. My husband is tall but has short legs so over time he may have to get a step stool to get in. Haha. We can store all our off season. Clothes underneath the bed with no problems. We have had it for a few months and it hasn’t started squeaking. Our mattress is very comfortable but a change going from box springs to a platform bed. Our dog can still jump up on it but a small dog would have some trouble. We did put some felt on each leg to make it easy to move around on our wood floor and it has been easy to move. When you add pillows, you cannot see the headboard but that doesn’t matter to me. The bed is great and the mattress doesn’t move which I was worried about when we got it because there was no lip to help keep it in place but never a problem. If you don’t mind a tall bed I’d recommend this to anyone. ... show more

I was reluctant on this purchase because of the reviews. This bed was easy to assemble with 2 people. We created a work space and laid all pieces out in sequence. Opened the screws in package in order of necessity with next step. The bed is extremely sturdy! My hubby and are heavy people and it was sturdy for us. Put up a few pics to demonstrate how we did it and of course the voila photo. Beautiful cozy bed awaits our guest! Follow step by step instructions and you will not have a problem. It also came with extra screws. I will put those and the Allen wrench to affix to bottom of bed for future need of disassembly. Great price and lovely bed. ... show more

It is good quality but backboard had a few scratches, nothing major but still no reason to be there. Put scratched side facing the wall so we don't see it.
