Hard to complain about this rack when it comes to materials, sturdiness, and ability to adjust baskets that are well made. And like more kit stuff, they were thoughtful enough to include both all the tools you need, plus extras of every bolt and nut. But it is not perfect, and for me, there is never a good excuse for any sloppy workmanship. I refer to the zig-zag "M" shaped wire bracing in the back, which in pictures and the instructions, looks nice and symmetrical. Only mine looks like someone was either not pay attention, had a poor sense of angles and lines, or was an amateur and in too big a rush. They got the left side correct, but not the right side (see photos). Whatever the case, get someone who can do it right, and give whoever did this a non-critical job in the packing and shipping department. OK, its not really a big deal overall, just annoying, and detracts from the otherwise general character of quality. And just no excuse for something that could have been done right. Do they not preform the wire on a jig so it comes out looking correct every time? I guess not. Just glad it is not that immediately noticeable when assembled. I also wish the basket locked in a bit easier and sturdy. Do not ever make the mistake of lifting the front of one unless you are ready for it to come off. Typically, that will also release it at the back, so be ready to catch. A little deeper side catch would prevent that, so you would have to lift up a bit to remove. Or maybe they thought this was a feature, being able to tip a basket above for better access to one below, not realizing it nearly always causes it to come unhooked on one or both sides, and just didn't thoroughly test the design. Some assembly notes from me. There are pictures, but no assembly step-by-step. Wait to put the casters on until you get the rack frame built. Otherwise, the just get in the way and make things a bit more tricky at times. They can be added easily once the frame is first completed. Also, for the most part, you can tighten nuts and bolts very snug, and the included tools pretty much prevent over-tightening. But be careful with the bolts going into the center support round tubes. Those could strip if you go too far, and no easy way to repair that. I'd still say get ones of these as long as you don't mind it may look like a child did part of the fabrication, but where it doesn't show too bad. Even so, I deducted one star for not catching this in a quality check and allowing it to ship out looking this way. Mistakes like this make me wonder what else didn't get checked closer. ... show more

This storage cart works well for our needs and was easy to assemble. The instructions are easy to follow - just make sure you look at the parts closely to put them facing the correct direction, as the instructions aren't very clear about that. Once assembled, the cart is fairly sturdy. It rolls okay on a hardwood floor - the wheels aren't the best quality, but they roll. The racks hook onto the cart easily and feel strong enough for our needs. Each rack has a black plastic liner - I like that. There is a drip tray at the very bottom of the cart, and it's easy to remove. The cart feels pretty sturdy, but it is very lightweight - definitely not industrial quality. When I first took the components out of the box, they were all stuck together. The cross piece was jammed into the wires of the basket (as shown in my photo), so I couldn't separate the baskets. I had to really work at getting that piece unjammed. Once I did, the parts were loose and ready to be put together. While this cart is listed as a fruit and vegetable cart, we're using it more as a 'party cart' at our lake cabin. When we entertain, I can load all the appetizers and beverages onto the cart, as well as serving plates, utensils, and napkins - and then I just roll it from the kitchen out to our deck. Very handy! We can then either keep all the food on the cart and 'pass it around', or we can just use the cart to transport everything from kitchen to deck, taking things off the cart onto tables on the deck. In the constant search for a way to have increased storage capacity in the kitchen (without covering the island), this kitchen cart has been fantastic. It's an easy, accessible way to keep non-refrigerated produce off the counter, while also being handy enough to hold whatever else (currently holding bags of coffee, a few loaves of bread, and some avocados). I really appreciate the thin black plastic pieces that were included, as these help keep softer fruit from sinking into the wire mesh as they ripen, and really adds to the versatility of the cart. ... show more
