So i purchased the Split Cal King. It really comes as two twin beds with a flimsy connector to hold the frames together. I recently had a knee replacement and back surgery yet i was able to put this bed together solo with a bit of careful planning to avoid lifting. Pros: separate remotes for both sides of the bed and nearly silent adjustment motors don't disturb the wife (early sleeper) USB on both outside edges beds for 4 USB outlets total. Cons: when assembling we noticed that the USB port was not in it's housing. on investigating we found the housing to be broken this was due to the wire from the controller being to short. this was a easy fix as the wire was looped up we cut it free and used electrical tape to hold the USB in place. I recommend getting a remote holder if you plan to charge from the bed. we often had stuff charge on the bed and remotes on it and there seemed no place for us. we got a organizer and tuck it between the bedframe and mattress problem solved. This came much more quickly than the tracking said! Wow! 2 boxes for my split king, each heinously heavy 😆😐 almost 90 pounds each. Which is good actually because I don't want a light piece of garbage! Really easy to set up. Plenty of storage room underneath. I put it on risers because I like it tall. Very quiet!     • Great adjustable bed at a great price!
Size: Split King
This power adjustable bed is sturdy and comfortable and was easy to assemble with no tools. Although you will need something to cut the thick zip ties used to hold the components in place during shipping. The bed is fairly heavy which is probably why it is so sturdy. The remote control was already paired to the unit, but instructions for pairing are included. Remote is a nice shape and size so it is easy to distinguish from TV or other remotes. It works well from a good distance away and may be bluetooth or some other RF transmission because it works when not in direct sight of the bed or when the bed frame is covered (like with a bed skirt). The remote has preset buttons for zero gravity setting and flat setting, It would be nice if it had presets for anti-snore and tv/reading positions as well. It does have 1 custom memory setting button. The only minor issue with the remote is that it is not backlit, although it has a built in flashlight and an in use indicator light. The motors are very quiet and move smoothly, it is easy to make minute adjustments to head and feet separately or simultaneously. There was no mention of a mobile app in the description or in the packaged materials, but there is an Okin bed app, it will be an unexpected bonus if it works with this bed, even if it doesn’t this is a great product. Note: In reviews I have seen talk of the USB ports being inaccessible on split king units. If you order the split king the 2 twin XL units are labeled for left and right and the USB ports are positioned on the outside of each unit so both are accessible when put together. If you don’t order the split king you will get two twin xl with USB ports on the same side of each unit. ... show more
