I love this product! I have a hard time regulating my body temperature due to some medications I have to take and the summer is especially brutal for me. My da had me try this and I was skeptical but I am so happy I took his advise. It works by just getting the fabric wet and I shake it for a couple seconds and its significantly cooler than my skin. I use it to help cool me down by wiping my arms and legs, I keep it around my neck to help prevent overheating, and it is now an essential for any outdoor event in the summer. My sisters borrow it for festivals and are talking about ordering their own. I think it would work great for after a workout too! I only wash it and let it air dry but keeping it clean hasn't been a problem ... show more

A great value. It is quite large. My wife cut it in half and its just right for her now. We both have one to use now. Very strong material and easy to use. Simply keep it in the container when not in use. It works for about 3 hours.

    • I sweat a lot, all day actually. Hear me out...

As the title says, I sweat all day, wich means I'm in the heat all day, so if I'm telling you a product works to keep you cool, then it does. All the frog togg products are really good at what they do, wether keeping you cool, or rain gear keeping you dry. I have this cooling towel in green and blue. I keep a cooler with ice and water on my truck, and as I go throughout the day I dip the towels in it and sling it around my neck or over my head (under my hat) and it helps a lot to keep me from overheating. I always have one around my neck, even if it's not cold, because they are wonderful at soaking up sweat too! You can twist them and pop them to keep them cool, but that only works for a bit, then it's a sweat rag until I make it back to my truck. They are essential to what I do just as any tool would be. I see people complain about the texture (wich I happen to really like) but what difference does the texture make when it's keeping you cool? This is a great product at a fair price. These towels are cold to the touch right out of the package. They are not simply a wet towel, they are a spongy material like a car drying chamois but as soon they’re wet they are cold and feel great. Kept me cool and more comfortable on a long hike in Arizona's high heat. They dry out after a while but keeping them wet and shaking them out works awesome and really helped me stay cool. After initial activating, this towel absorbs all water or melting ice, if I place them in the plastic bag. When removed, water does not drip as the towel holds it pretty well. The towel sized to cover entire back and shoulders, helping large body area to cool off fast. This was my 1st time using a product like this. We went to a concert in the middle of summer in florid. This worked perfectly at keeping us cool while the hot sun was beating down. We dipped it in cold water then rung out just enough abd put in the back of the neck as as well used around the face area. It provided long lasting coolness. Easy to wash. We cleaned and packed away in the original tube after letting them dry completely since we weren't going to be using then right away. This didn't work for us, but under the right circumstances, it could. I tested this out in my 77-ish degree home, and in the AC, it most definitely stayed cold. Okay, cool. Well, we used it outside in 57-65% humidity and (Missouri) in the shade in 86-90 degree heat, and it really didn't stay cool at all, even with frequent turning. The fabric, if you want to call it that, is pretty uncomfortable to have on your body, as well. I recall a review that said it's like wearing a yoga mat, and honestly, that's not a terrible comparison. It's like a thinner/more malleable wet yoga mat. My husband has become really intolerant of heat, andI knew it wasn't supposed to help with "high" humidity--but I wasn't sure what that line was. I provided the humidity levels and temperature here to help you decide if it may work for you. If you're looking to use it somewhere in the caribbean, for instance, it won't work at all.
