This is a great product. I chose this system because we needed the space under the sink and felt this would be perfect for our needs. If you want quality customer service Frizzlife is the the company for you. They are by far the best when it comes to helping and resolving your issues. INSTALLATION: Ww chose to hire our plumber since we are getting up there in age and didn't want to get under the sink. Glad we did because our pipes needed a coupler to reduce the size, otherwise, the installation went well, and was up and running in no time WATER QUALITY:The water tastes great, better than bottled water. The flow is a bit slow, but so are all the reverse osmosis systems we had in the past. PROBLEMS: There was an issue with the flow. The flow started out strong but then it would decrease to to no flow then back to the original flow rate. I contacted customer service and was pleasantly surprised that they responded within the day. They were so comprehensive and helpful and I couldn't have asked for more. RESOLUTION OF PROBLEM: After numerous emails it was determined that the rate was what was advertised, but they sent me a FREE mini tank that would resolve the issue with what is called water lag. The mini tank arrived within 2 days. The hookup was extremely easy. We did have to purchase extra tubing in order to complete the installation, but it cost less than $10 on Amazon. Works great. Installation is not an issue as this was a replacement for a 20 year old Kenmore system and I had installed another unit in my second home 2 years ago. Review installation videos on the Frizzlife site and on YouTube. My system is remotely located in my downstairs utility room and the connections to the 2 RO faucets and the 2 icemakers were already in place. There is a noticeable humming noise when the system is creating RO water. In my utility room that is not an issue. In my second home, the system is under the sink and the noise is noticeable but tolerable. I recommend a 1+ gallon surge tank - Mine is 2 gallons. This gives you almost a gallon of RO without pressure drop-off. The mineral replacement cartridge did make my water taste bad. I am on a well with a water softener, so I don't think the two mixed, BUT I contacted customer service, and we replaced the mineral cartridge with an alkaline one (they sent it for free), and now my water tastes wonderful. TIP: It is VERY noisy, so my plumber installed it in the basement on a shelf he built into the wall. It was STILL noisy, but we put a foam square under it to dampen the vibration and it helped. I made a great choice by purchasing the Frizzlife RO water filtration system for the following reasons: 1. The filters are easier to change and less expensive than most. 2. The water TDS is within normal limits. 3. The water tastes great. 4. With this tankless unit I now have 50% more storage space under my sink than I did with the RO tank water filtration unit I previously owned. 5. This is an expensive product to not work after only two years of use. I'm really displeased. Not to mention that it was incredibly difficult to get replacement filters that would ship to me. Two of the three would often would not ship to my address, even though initially I bought a full set of replacement filters the same time I purchased the filtration unit so I would have them on hand, and those shipped no issue. Since that initial order, it's been very hit or miss, which is just outstandingly ridiculous considering the price of this thing. I liked the filter, but it was always kinda slow. I'm guessing the pump is dead. It's been acting weird with the pump not kicking on and the water pressure way worse than usual, now it won't do anything. So that's neat. I'm super disappointed this has been my experience, I was so excited to have a ro filter and two years is just an unacceptable lifespan for a thing priced at this amount. ... show more
