Features

  • Superb Filtration PerformanceFrizzlife under sink water filter incorporates advanced filtration technology that extrudes NSF 42&53 Certified filtration ingredients and coconut carbon into a 0.5-micron block filter. Wrapped with PP layer, the composite filter can effectively remove 99% of the harmful contaminants from water(including chlorine, lead, other heavy metals, VOCs, bad taste, and odor) while keeping beneficial minerals.
  • Sturdy & StrongThe full water filter system has passed 100,000 times of 600 psi water hammer test for system integrity and pressure resistance. Different from other flimsy systems on the market with plastic housing and fittings, the FK99 water filtration system under counter utilizes durable and lead-free brass fittings. No crack or leakage concerns! The water filter head also uses the auto-shutoff design. You dont need to shut off the water supply when replacing the filter.
  • Ultra-long Filter Life&Eco-FriendlyThe inner filter of the undersink water filter system has an ultra-high filtration capacity at 10,000 gallons of water or a recommended replacement period of 12 months. For replacement, you only need to change the inner filter without throwing away the whole plastic housing cartridge. It saves a lot of waste and lowers the replacement cost. Search PLC10 for the replacement filter. Rated flow at 2 GPM @ 60 psi. Enjoy fresh and clean water from your tap!
  • Easy DIY InstallationCompatible with US kitchen sink (3/8 NPT or 1/2). The kitchen sink filter can be directly connected to your existing faucet. It is super easy to be installed within 5 min following step-by-step user manual and installation video. Thanks to the threaded copper fittings on the system, the water filter system manage to use only one provided hose to finish the connection. More ergonomic and easier installation but fewer leakage points!

  • Easy install, good performance
Style: MK99 under sink water filter
I was looking for a water filter that didn't need a separate faucet since that would be difficult to install with our countertops. As I researched I also became aware of the NSF/ANSI 53 certification, and since we live in an area where PFAS are a concern, I also wanted a filter that carried that certification. This water filter met my criteria and was very easy to install. It just takes installing the mounting bracket and then inserting the filter into the water line. The included hardware and hoses feel very high quality. I also like that filter changes on this product replace just the inner media, so there's no throwing out a big hunk of plastic on each change as with the filter in our refrigerator. We are on a municipal water system and the supplied water drawn from wells is perfectly drinkable, but is relatively hard and has some taste issues. The filter definitely improves the taste of our water making it pretty much neutral, which I think is how water should taste. I think there might be a very slight reduction in water flow with the filter in place, although it's small enough that I'm not really sure. I liked it enough that I bought a second one for another sink. ... show more

  • Good and easy to install

I have been using it for a bit and there is a definite change in the taste of the water. Waiting to change the filter to see how that works.

  • Mixed bag - good initial flow but required modifications and filters extremely difficult to change
Style: MK99 under sink water filter
I've had this filter for 6+ months now and felt like it was time to put in a review. First things first, you should never trust a review from someone who just installed a consumable system like a water filter, as it will typically perform very well initially and issues arise down the line. Let's start with the good here: It's inexpensive for the advertised flow rate - this is one of the only filters on the market that advertises over 2gpm, and it is capable of reaching that with a brand new filter. However, at least with our water source (New York City), that performance degrades SUBSTANTIALLY after a few weeks, to the point where it gets down to a trickle. Frizzlife stood behind their product and sent a second filter, but the same thing happened again within a few weeks so it seems our water's particular composition and this type of filter media don't play nicely together. I solved for this by installing a pressurized water tank in line after the filter stage, more commonly used with Reverse Osmosis systems (but works perfectly here as well) so that the first quarter gallon is full speed ahead even with the water supply shut totally off (and the tank refills as it dispenses) - this has resolved my flow rate issues permanently. Good quality metal hoses are included, but unfortunately that's more of a problem for me because my existing water filter connection requires push to connect plastic fittings. I fashioned an adapter from a 3/8 NPT to 1/4" push-to-connect after the tank stage to address this, but it would be nice if they included a few adapters in the box because they're surprisingly hard to find but cost next to nothing. It's definitely doing something! Take a look at the picture above, about 5 months after the filter was installed it's absolutely disgusting looking with the color of a cigarette filter. This will not lower your TDS reading, and they're very clear about that, but the drinking water it produces tastes good and clearly lacks the nasty stuff it's pulled out above. Now, let's talk about the bad parts: This is only a direct connection if you have the rare filtered water spout that accepts a 3/8" NPT or 1/2" NPT connection, as these are the only connectors and adapters provided. If you look at any of the most popular filtered water faucets sold on Amazon, the vast majority use 1/4" quick connect push-to-fit connections. Whether or not you think there are long term reliability issues with such connections, that is what most people already have in place, meaning you're headed to the hardware store to try to rig together some kind of adapter, which is likely to have more leak potential than a direct connection. They should at least include adapters they've tested and endorse in the package to avoid this. Removing the filter assembly from the bracket is super easy, it rotates out and twists off - anyone can do this. However, you haven't changed your filter at that point... this is not a drop in replacement - they sell the inner filter medium by itself, and include a special plastic wrench for opening the filter assembly housing to replace the medium. This works great when it's new, but when I went to change filters (see above) it would not budge under any circumstances - I put it in a vice and used a mallet to the point that the plastic wrench started to strip. I ended up having to buy a set of oil filter pliers to counterhold and twist, and finally was able to open it, but this is exponentially more difficult and time consuming than a system like 3m Filterete where the replacement filters come ready to screw in. I get that it saves plastic and likely benefits the environment, but man, their implementation is not up to the task. Tl;dr? Good performance for the money but changing filters sucks and it doesn't come with what you need to connect to the vast majority of filtered water faucets, ice maker lines and other things you might need filtered water for. I wouldn't buy it again but I'm also not going out of my way to replace it now that it's plumbed in. ... show more

Had problems with other brand. Decided to try this company and hopefully they also have good customer service. So far no complaints. Easy set-up and 10min later clean water right from the tap.

  • Very Pleased with Filter
Style: FK99 under sink water filter
Decided to buy filter for kitchen sink. Bought this filter because of the brass fittings, not trusting plastic fittings. Very pleased with the filter. It was extremely easy to install. Filter came with all the fittings needed for installation, however my pipes are 1/2" and fittings on filter are 3/8". Instead of using the adapters furnished I went to local hardware store, spent $6 and purchased a hose with 3/8" on one end and 1/2" on the other end. Stick on template made installing mounting screws simple. Now the important part! I have always thought my water tasted good compared to surrounding areas but after installing the filter the difference is noticeable. The water now has a smoother taste than before. I equate this taste to bottled water at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend this filter. add on 10/26/23 My visiting adult daughter said yesterday " I always thought the water here tasted great but the water from the kitchen faucet is a lot better than from bathroom faucet". ... show more

  • Great tasting water
Style: FK99 under sink water filter
Easy to install. It made my water taste great. City water was not good to me and I was tired of using pitcher filters. They didn’t even remove the yuck taste. It doesn’t hinder my water flow at all and the filters last up to 12 months. This product was a win for me!
