My daughter's hoverboard charger has been lost to the sands of time, so we ordered this hoping to have a way to charge it. In an effort to find a replacement charger, I learned a couple of things: You have to match the voltage of the device, or you'll get unpredictable results, probably damaging the battery you're trying to charge. On this the three-in-one charger was perfect: 42V is the requirement for our hoverboard device. Second, the amps will determine the charging speed. This charger is 2 amps, which is fairly fast charging. If your battery is getting too hot when charging, get a lower amp charger. If it is taking too long, get a higher amp charger. That seems to be the general nature of charging, anyway. For us, 2 amps was perfect, and charged the board fully in a reasonable amount of time. If you have a device that fits one or more of these three charging outputs and requires 42V, I highly recommend this three in one charger - excellent value for the price! ... show more

Got this to replace a lost Ninebot ES1L scooter charger that we lost sometime last year. This one is nice because we also have a few hoverboards so having one charger for multiple electric scooters and hoverboards is really nice.
