    The manufacturer for the charger that came with the scooter is Universal Power Group. The charger purchased from Amazon is U.P.G. So your buying a Pride charger. Works fine. Doesn't overheat. Great for backup. Key difference between this one for $65 and the one that came with the scooter is size. This one is 30 per cent smaller.
