The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful wall sconce. I'm always worried certain colors can come off looking tacky but this one goes with our home decor and looks more expensive than it is! I like the frosted white inner portion because it covers the light bulb. I don't like exposed light bulbs or the ones with a clear glass because the light can be too jarring for the eyes. With this one you are free to use a brighter bulb and it won't hurt your eyes. The gold portion is shiny, I'm not sure why in the stock photos it comes off looking a bit matte. I actually prefer the actual product and the shiny gold. This is hardwire so you'll either have to hire someone to do it or if you know how, that's great. There is no remote, I'm not sure why one of the review mentioned a remote, but this is your standard hardwired wall sconce. There is a LED light bulb included. Make sure to look inside the box, it is there and will be easily missed if you don't look through the entire box. For anyone that has no clue about light bulbs and lighting in general like me, I wanted to add that the light bulb this sconce uses is a very tiny one - I've actually never seen a bulb like this. It is not your typical lamp type of light bulb where you screw into the base, this one has a G9 base. Do an online search to see what it looks like. This is my first time seeing this type of base and bulb, but I'm glad they included the bulb otherwise I would've had to order them in bulk (for better value). I wish this had a different type of base where I can use the standard type of bulbs (E26 base?). Regardless, this is still a great wall sconce. ... show more
