This back brace provides good support and pain relief. I needed to have cloth between the brace and my skin to reduce discomfort, but you could survive without the added cloth. I have used the brace for a week and the material does stretch but so far this is not a problem as I have a couple of inches to go before the material overlaps and I don't expect that much stretch. He especially likes the extra side straps for it to stay in place without moving up as it has a bit of a belly.
