After searching and reading countless reviews, I settled on the Freesky Rocky 48v to 750w eBike and I could not be happier. Had a few questions after purchase and the tech support could not be better. Fast. Responsive. Totally engaged in resolving the issue. Do not hesitate to purchase a bike from Freesky. The Rockyhas plenty of power. The bike comes mostly assembled. What doesn't come assembled takes no-time to finish. Some details worth mentioning:. Bike is built very well. Solid, not flimsy in any way. The brakes are exceptional. The shifting is smooth. The headlight kicks butt and the fact it has a taillight is awesome. Front and rear suspension (the rear is a bit stiff but....). The controller/computer is easy to read and adjust. I really can't say enough good about this bike. I am 250lbs and 5'9" and this bike hauls me around no problem. I have added the rear rack bag, added mirrors and swapped out the seat for one that I had on a previous bike. I just put my first 100 miles on this bike and totally love my Freesky Rocky. It is fast and very sturdy. I am 5’2” and it fits perfectly. I am also pleased with the great customer service. After receiving the bike,I assembled the front brake it did not work properly and the front brake disc was slightly bent. I contacted customer service and received an immediate reply and was reassured that the would assist me with any problems. I sent pictures and video and received new parts in the mail. I was still able to ride the bike without the front brake working but now everything is working perfectly! I worked with Carl through Amazon and also Freesky.com. Also, there is a Freesky ebike Official group on Facebook that provides additional information about the bikes. ... show more

I purchased this as a gift for my wife, it’s perfect Step-thru design is extremly easy to get on, especially for women. Good way for commute and save money. She loves the dual suspension including front suspension fork & rear suspension, it rides so very smooth and is so comfortable. We trail ride together and its suitable for all terrains. The motor drive is very strong and makes it easy to climb mountains. It comes with a Samsung Battery that lasts for long rides. The Hydraulic Disc brake system is very impressive with very good braking ability. It’s equipped with a20x4.0 inch anti-wear fat tire. It’s perfect for persons whose height is 5'1"-6'4". My wife is 64 years old and this bike makes her feel like a kid again. She can go anywhere with the energy of a person 30 years younger. Also anyone can assemble this bike. I was a little bit nervous about this purchase because I'm a bigger girl and I was worried about the weight limit. I weigh 260 and have no problem riding this bad bike with a 50 lb backpack. It will easily go to cruising speeds of 30 mph just using the throttle and I haven't gotten the courage up to go beyond pedal assist number 3 because that is more than fast enough for me! I would recommend getting a very heavy-duty lock to go with it because it catches eyes all over town. I live in a big city and I'm able to get from point A to point B faster than I would with a car or the bus! I spent my last dime on this but it was worth every penny! I also made sure to get a good helmet because if you're going 30 miles an hour and happened to wipe out you're going to want a helmet. Very easy to ride, pretty easy to assemble I just had a Little Help from my landlord, and lights and everything work great! I told my friends I might never get a car with this thing LOL even in the snow it works great! Also, had a minor issue at first (just a cable not connected) and the seller responded asap and followed up to make sure everything was good. DEFINITELY worth the money, and this is coming from a broke girl lol 😆 ... show more

    • well had some out of box issues on my black rocky since february finally resolved.
I bought this bike because its a class 2 which means that we can ride on trails, paths and streets. The Samsung batteries are UL rated, the motor is a brushless Bafang which means these are high end. I am quite satisfied with overall build of this e-bike. I am a mechanical tech by trade and the components are well made. LOTS of torque to get you going from a stop or up a steep incline. You can ride with pedal assessed or thumb/twist grip. The hydraulic front/rear brakes stop the bike quickly. The riding position is easily adjustable for both adults and teens. Lots more good things I can add but time to go ride again. Pictures next future review......Continued. Since purchased ( red no problems) black Rocky has had three problems. Battery led showing charge no longer lights, battery release button on frame locks up so wont release battery. (new release of Rocky with 1200w has changed the battery release button), and 2 piece kickstand fell apart. ( I found and fixed kickstand with screw). Still triing to resolve factory battery problems. Update, got button/lock assembly have not installed yet. Also got battery which I partially had to pay for......but bike is fun and my other rocky has had no issues. ... show more

We got this bike for my daughter for Christmas, and although the weather has been cold, the couple of times that she's been able to go out she has absolutely loved it! So much so that her brother wants one too now! The bike preforms better than i could have expected, going 25mph with no problem. You can tell this is a quality build too, she has no problem going through rougher terrains. The customer service has also is outstanding with our rep Carl checking in with us to ensure everything is still great! Great product and fun bike. Good job my dudes! ... show more
