It has a lot more power than I need, which was surprising, it has a lot of power. The bike is very comfortable to ride. The max distance I’m getting is about 30ish miles, but again I’m issuing the hell of the pedal assist on hills and the throttle at stop lights. I've been looking for a ebike for a long time I ordered thie alaska because of the dual batteries and the range it appeared better than most so I decided to get it ordering and delivery was very easy I got the bike a week after ordering when I got the bike in I opened the box and everything was packaged very well and secure when I unpacked the bike it was a beautiful bike it far exceeded what I was expecting it assembled very quickly it was very easy to assemble and everything fit and worked properly right out of the box the first time i took it for a ride it rode great and was very fast the fastest I got it to go was 41.4 mph otherwise I usually average about 36mph this bike is great I'm really enjoying it I would definately buy another one and we did I bought a rocky pro for my mother and she loves it great job freesky ... show more

I purchased 2 Alaska e bikes one for me and the other for my wife so we could do some off road and on road exploring while getting exercise at the same time. The bikes came fully protected and honestly took longer to remove all the protective packaging than it did to assemble the bike. I was impressed with the quality of the bikes and the fact that most of the parts are known Brands and replaceable. On road the battery life is great we did 36 miles on pedal assist 2 without any battery level drop. Off road I did 13 miles and decided to put it to the test which included some pretty gnarly trails which were probably a bit extreme for its intended use but it did really well, battery level dropped 1 bar and I was exhausted. Keep in mind I'm trying to get exercise along with some needed assist. I didn't buy the bike expecting it to pull my dead weight (190 lb) around all day long for miles and miles. If you are in decent shape and want to use medium effort from time to time you can cover alot of ground on or off road and get great mileage out of the batteries. I suspect if you buy a bike like this to not put any effort into pedaling the battery obviously isn't go to go as far, as for my purposes it suits me perfectly knowing I can go just about anywhere and know I can have a powerful motor and battery life to make it back home. 😎 ... show more

Initially the bike was great. Out of the box, the only complaint I had/have is the rear suspension is too light (I weigh 220lbs). I’ve had some great times with this bike and have explored so awesome trails. I have owned the bike for 2 years and over the years, I have noticed the battery life progressively getting worse. Now the bike won’t go more than 2 miles without dying on me. Believe me, this is not a bike you want to pedal without any assist. Now I have an unrideable bike and replacement batteries are $500 each. Overall it was a fun 2 years but now I will be looking elsewhere for a better option. ... show more

Hooked up My Speaker perfectly wt PH holder and Switched up the Tan wall Tires for the road. She's a beast got it up to 40+MPH on a slight decline and 37-38MPH on flat! Gonna see how far i can go on a single Charge! Very well built Machine! Thank you Horlan for your customer service as well!
