I used this for my outdoor fountain that's not over 2 feet tall and it only trickled the water down. Tubing was VERY cheap. The light wouldn't float on top of the water like I wanted. 1week in it just stops working, no sound, nothing. Returning this pump and have already ordered another one that is m

Both of these pumps were used for 2 36” waterfalls, the first one was shorted out 5 hours into the first day!!! Tha other one lasted 4 days!!! Horrible I have never had this happen with anything I purchased from Amazon!!! Amazon please re-evaluate?

Great little pump but needs a few tweaks

I ordered this pump because my outdoor fountain pump died on me. I wasn't sure if it would work with my fountain set up, but I was hopeful. It actually worked out great. All my tubing and accessories were already attached to my fountain, so all I had to do was attach the pump to the tubing, place it
in the water and start the fountain. It was strong enough to pump the water in my fountain without any problems. It comes with a multi-colored light that sits in the bottom of the fountain, which is pretty but it's on all the time. You can't turn it off or unplug it from the pump. You also can't keep it on just one color. It is multi-colored and stays multi-colored. It's pretty but it would be nice to be able to control the colors and whether it's on or off. Also, since it's on all the time, my fear is it's going to burn itself out being on all day long (my fountain runs continuously) and you won't see any lights at all. Also, the electrical cord is not the best quality. It is thin and feels a little cheap. I hope it lasts in the sun and rain as my fountain is outside all summer long. Other than that, I really do like this pump and so far it seems to be a good value.

Nice little fountain pump

This was the perfect size pump to fit into a small patio fountain. Despite its compact size, it gives all the power I need to have a nice water flow from the fountain. It didn't come with any instructions but it was easy to figure out how to put it together. It's nice and quiet and does exactly what
I need it to do. Only time will tell how long it will last -- I have found with many small outdoor water pumps that they don't last much longer than a year. I'll update this review if this pump doesn't last.

Made for something small, no instructions

This is a small pump and is definitely meant for a smaller pond or small to midsize aquarium. I got it for a fountain and it makes a nice bubble but not a huge spray. The hose came tightly coiled and took some work to straighten out. The power cord is quite short and I"m not sure I'd use it outside w
