Every kids dream.. and every parents night mare!! I can't stand hearing a ball bounce in my house!!! But I can't give it a bad review for my hatred towards it. I deducted two stars for the durability because my child dunks on it and the back clear piece and tiny stress cracks in it from his ruff play. But several months later it's still holding up (even though I pray it breaks regularly). Over all great buy for the price tag!! We have went through probably 3 other over the door bball rims and they all have broke within weeks! So this one is definitely holding up much better!! ***UPDATE 5/16/21- this stupid annoyance is still holding on for dear life!!! :/ it's been a couple years at least and it's like a cat. 9 lives! Granted it's all duck taped from the constant dunking from my now 16 year old, not played with daily anymore but still multiple times a week! So if you want durability, go for it. This was a great rim for my son for a while; he loved it. It looks and feels sturdy, and it held up for a while but eventually the "shatter-proof" backboard shattered and the rim broke off.

I got this for my 10-year-old son who uses it all the time after playing NBA 2020 game on his PS4. I have previously purchased these for him however they were not the extra large size that this one is. I decided to purchase the extra large as my son is a little guy I’ll delete short and was having a hard time slam dunking on the smaller version. The larger XL version like this one lowers the hoop probably 3 to 4 inches allowing him to slam dunk the ball. This hoop is taking a ton of abuse and has produced a large amount of fun for the low price. I bought this for my nephew who is 9. It lights up bright and keeps score. It even makes noises and sounds which you can turn on and off. Also a very sleek looking backboard and hoop without the lights on. Other cool feature is the spring hoop, which allows him to "dunk" (can't hang on it).

I had 2 screws for one of the brackets to hang the hoop on the door but need another 2 for the other bracket. The box didn’t come with 4 screws.
