I thought the container would be bigger. My mistake. But as soon as I got it I used just a little to make some popcorn and my house smelled like the movie theater. I didn’t have to add a bunch of salt and butter. Has a great taste without adding anything. I absolutely love it. My husband loves it. I couldn’t wait to try this butter flavored coconut oil! I told my husband that’s really expensive but if it’s good it will be worth it. It came in the mail today so I opened it up and popped some popcorn using the Franklins Butter flavored coconut oil. We did NOT even taste a hint of butter! Very disappointed! 1 star for shipping condition, but 5 stars for the product. I've used it several times in our popcorn machine and it works great. Good flavor without being overboard. When it arrived the entire container was broken in half and the box was filled with solidified oil. It soaked through the box, so I'm not sure how USPS didn't notice. ... show more

I had a fever...a fever for better tasting air-popped popcorn. I tried making my own ghee, buying a name-brand oil, and trying just straight coconut oil...they just don't have that old movie-style butter taste for my popcorn. I took a chance with this stuff, and let me tell you, this IS the butter of all non-butters to pop with. It has a great taste, not really greasy, and pops almost every darn kernel of corn. This stuff is absolutely wonderful! My family and I love going to the movies and absolutely love movie popcorn, one day after paying WAY too much for the movie, popcorn, water and two bags of candy I had a epiphany and started researching how to do movie theatre popcorn at home. I am not going to go into detail because all of my research is found in several areas in other reviews. What I will say is that coconut oil, flavocol popcorn seasoning, your preferred method of popping the popcorn ( I purchased a Whirley Pop and it works like a dream) and an appetite. It was about 15 batches later and I was finally able to eat my share without the rest of the family eating it before I was able to get more than a cup or so. I brought everything to work at the fire station and once the guys there saw that what I had, they started asking questions and then asked me to make some popcorn. Needless to say they were worse than the kids and absolutely killed it! I ended up making several batches so there was enough to go around. Friends as well as family absolutely love the popcorn and I have not had any complaints as of yet. My only complaint is that I wish the container was larger because I go through this container way too easily due to all of our friends and family requesting popcorn all the time! ... show more
