My son was thrilled to receive this comforter set as a Christmas gift. Pokémon is all the rage in this house currently. The comforter itself is soft and from what I can tell so far, pretty wrinkle resistant. The colors are very vibrant. The sheets are basic cotton sheets, but I’ve washed them twice so far and no shrinkage has occurred (we make sure to dry them on low). He has a thicker full sized mattress and the sheets fit pretty well, but after he rolls around some we do end up having to reposition them. Overall, I think this set was a great value for the price. If you have a Pokémon junkee like me, they’d probably really appreciate this set. ... show more

I felt the need to leave a review with pictures since I was very reticent about buying this set due to the many reviews stating that the comforter barely hangs off either side of the mattress. Not true. If you’ll see in the picture from the side, it is evenly on the bed, with plenty of room hanging off each side, in fact, just as much as the previous bedding set we had on this bed, that was not Disney, but just a standard bed in a bag set. Also the thickness is perfect, not too thin and not too thick. Slightly thinner than our previous bed in a bag, which with my experience sleeping under it in my daughter’s bed when I pass out trying to get her to go to sleep, and jolt awake several hours later, I feel just as warm and comfortable as I did with our previous set. I do like the material, it’s similar to a satin type, but I have noticed the surface of it doesn’t get extremely cold and uncomfortable to lay your skin on, which was another concern until I slept under it with her. Don’t second guess buying this, my daughter could not contain her excitement when she saw her new Frozen room for her birthday. I was also able to find matching lavender curtains and a bed skirt to bring the room together. I was nervous the comforter, bed skirt and curtains would be all different shades of lavender and look awful, but they all are actually quite the same. The comforter works because there’s varying shades, and the bed skirt and curtains are near exact matches. I could not be happier. Also we bought snowflake flannel sheets for the bed since it’s always a bit colder in her room, and we discovered several months ago that giving her flannel sheets keeps her in her own bed longer, and out of ours. A few extra hours a night of not having little hands and hot little toddler feet poking into your back is worth it. Wanted to leave the searchables for the curtains, bed skirt and sheets to help anyone out who may also be having quite a time finding a match. They’re all from Amazon. The comforter is soft, light weight and great for summer/spring nights only. I immediately washed it and it washed great. No running of colors. The sheets are very soft so if you have a child with sensory issues like mine then this is perfect the blanket is nice and thick but still soft and breathable so is great for all seasons my son is very happy with this bed set
