  • I may never cheap out on a case again...
Color: Gray
I finally got around to building a new PC after like 10 years. After using cheap cases over and over because "It's just a box to hold the bits" I decided to splurge a little, and it may have made me rethink that. First off, the box was well padded and survived shipping, even with the two massive panes of tempered glass. Generally, I detest tempered glass, but at the time the solid panel variant was considerably more expensive than this gray version. the top and front are plastic over a metal inner frame, with tinted tempered glass both front and back. Included are 5 fans, with the front two being crazy large. The bottom 3 are on removable tray that makes installation way easier than the cheaper, monolithic designs. PSU is back in the top of the case, with easy access to the backside of the motherboard tray to run the power lines. Cable routing on the backside is generous, with numerous velcro tie downs and a fan controller built in. Cable passthroughs are numerous and well placed. If you're interested in this case, Gamer's nexus has a way better review of it than i could ever do. The main thing is the attention to detail, stuff like having extra rails in case you want to put different front fans on, a well illustrated manual, labelled hardware packaging, and even an included GPU brace that integrates into the case. All these little things have really spoiled me. The main reason i wanted this case, besides the excellent thermal management from the airflow, was that it was deep enough for my crazy large CPU cooler. It's not perfect, mind you. The Front panel, while having such good features as separated mic and headphone ports, and 2 USB-A ports, and a USB-C port, has an annoyance: the USB-C uses the newer "A" type USB 3.2 plug instead of the normal motherboard header. Not every new Motherboard has the new style jacks yet, so you may need to pick up an adapter. Not a complaint, just an annoyance. aRGB on this version is only a little strip along the side of the box the power supply lives in, and is rather tastefully done. All in all, I'm exceptionally happy with how easy this case was to build in, even if it's still a bit expensive. ... show more

  • Ideal computer case.
Color: Black Solid
Benefits (briefly) - Excellent blowing of computer components. - Compatible with all motherboards and processors. - Perfect even for long video cards (I have a long 3090 - super up). - The case looks very nice, everything is done very high quality. - A lot of modifications from the manufacturer - for every taste (glass side panels, metal block panels, cooler lighting - very beautiful). that the seller has. Feel free to buy - you will be satisfied! ... show more

  • One of the best Air Flow cases that I've ever used.
Color: Dark
Firstly, this case is HUGE. I knew that when buying it.....I owned a bunch of pc cases in the last couple of years, this case by far has the best Air Flow of any of them. There is plenty of room for a gigantic graphics card. I replaced the 3 bottom fans with 2 bigger ones just like the front. That got rid of some fan noise while not getting rid of any of the air flow. Some cables at the very bottom are hard to route, but it can be done. I have a ryzen cpu and a Noctua single fan air cooler and my CPU idles around 30 - 32c with my home's AC set to 78. Much better than other cases with worse air flow. ... show more

  • Good Tower, Poor Seller.
Color: Black Solid
The tower arrived. Sadly no extra packing (no double boxing or padding) Just the tower’s box with a sticker. Allowing anyone to see what you have and risk of damage. The tower arrived with a large hole in the box you could fit your arm into. UPS did take note and asked my wife was everything alright. I was lucky no dents or damage to the tower. First thing I made sure to check was the fan hub was V1.1, and it was. Please take the time to understand this. Fractal did do a recall on this in 2021. They made defective fan hubs that could have caused a short-circuit. They made things right. Before you start the build make sure you see V1.1 by unscrewing the fan hub. Cable management might feel strange since you will place the power supply on top and not under. I took my time and planned it all out, turned out well. Please note, this will be the size of a full tower. I did place an extra 140mm fan on the back to help expel/exhaust air. Once I set PWM in bios the tower fans ran quiet and only spins faster when it needs to. It’s rather quiet. My GPU loves the 3x 140mm fans under, the temperatures are nice. The 2x 180mm fans do a good job taking air in from the front. This is a good air cooling tower. I did pay over manufacturers' recommended price (MRP) for this, but I can’t argue about that. I would like to have seen more metal and less plastic on the tower, I feel this may cause the front pegs to break in time when I need to clean the filters. I like Fractal; they do right by their customers if you need to place a ticket. They have made me whole in the past. This seller is 3rd party not Prime and I cannot recommend them. When you drop good money for a tower you would think they would give it extra packing. No, I got the tower in its box with a large hole. The only protection was the one that Fractal packs its tower. I would highly recommend you take the time to read the user manual even if you are a good builder. PWM fan hubs can be something new to builders. Overall: worth the money if you want good air flow for the hardware inside. I would try finding a better seller than this one. I can’t trust them and they proved they can’t be trusted. ... show more
