Works very well. You're able to plug this into your car and run diagnostic tests, and then using the USB option, you can view the reports at home when plugged into your computer or an outlet. Very efficient and runs diagnostics relatively quickly.

    • Happy with my Foxwell scanner
So far my Foxwell OBD scanner has proven to operate as expected. I used the scanner on my two vehicles, a Chevy Impala and Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. No trouble codes in my Toyota but the Impala had one transmission DTC. I had already repaired that problem. I erased the code and the DTC hasn't come back. Also the Foxwell code scanner updated easily and had no problems with the update procedure. I'm happy with my purchase.     • Total waste of money
Doesn’t charge. Never works unless plugged into a secondary power source. A low priced scanner at least powers up when you plug it into the OBD port. Not this thing. Only used on two vehicles so far, now it won’t establish a connection with anything I plug it into. Autovin and smartvin functions don’t work. When it did work it took way too long to scan for codes. This is a huge step down from other cheap scanner options. At least they turn on and give you a code. Garbage!!! ... show more
