  • Great range of features and excellent energy savings
I bought this (after much research) because it offered a combination of combi, convection, dehydration, and several other functions. After many months of daily use I am extremely impressed. I don't have a microwave oven and this is an efficient way of reheating without loss of quality, but it also is a high quality small format home combi, as well as convection and top broil oven. It is less effective at conventional baking because it lacks a bottom element, but that's a minor shortcoming. I have used this and the Duxtop single burner induction to replace my gas/electric range during warmer months because the range heated up my apartment so much it overwhelmed my air conditioning. The only thing I use the range for in the summer is to bake bread early in the morning. I actually got a phone call from my energy utility saying they were going to send someone out to check my utility connections because there was evidence that my gas connection was defective. I asked if that was gas only and if they were showing electric usage; they said that was the case. I told them not to worry. That's how much it reduced my energy bills; I had almost zero gas usage for five months. It's very easy to clean except I do have a little baked on oil splatter (not severe). It also has preset functions for people who don't cook from scratch very often; I don't use those so I can't comment on them. ... show more

  • slick looking oven
First of all I like the look of it, even with so many days passed after purchasing it. By far it is functioning well enough and I am happy with the purchase generally. What I like about it: - look. The look is just great. I already got a bunch of compliments from friends. - energy efficient. I guess the specifications are not off, as the electricity usage did not spike even though it was used a lot. A lesser hit on the bill compared to the built-in oven, especially when I was not making a lot of food. - versatility. I haven’t tried enough but I’ve been using it to make all kinds of stuff. It is great that I don’t need to get another air fryer and all. What I do not like about it: - instructions could be better. I’m not saying the instructions are not helpful because they still provide most of the information you need - a tad difficult to start. Not just the instructions. The oven itself is not that intuitive if you are not very familiar with all these functionalities of ovens. If there can be easier starter guides (like videos), it will be a lot easier to use ... show more

  • I am so disappointed in this.
I was excited to get this oven. But I am so disappointed in it. There are no recipes in the book. Or on the oven itself. The ad says it does, but no way. It just asks what temp you want. I paid $499.99 for this oven, and it really sucks. I thought for the money, it would something special. I should have bought the one at Walmart for less money. All the controls are on the bottom of the oven, and you have to bend over to see them. Not good for a bad back. The oven door is a little tough to open. However, it is nice looking. And fairly easy to operate. ... show more

  • If you steam a lot. Yes go get it
I like it’s very powerful steam oven. Buns, fish, the best program probably is the sweet potato. Very nice machine. But the bake part is not efficient as expected. I tried to bake cheese cake, cupcake. All failed. Had to return it cuz I really want a combo oven not just steam oven.

  • I am glad to get what I need.
I got this Countertop Steam Oven to replace my old air fryer with added steaming feature a month ago. So far, it is still my favorite appliance in the kitchen. (I am trying to give a 4.5 star) Before buy this, I compared several products. This is the only one can fit my under cabinet space with big enough inner space. But the biggest problem is the exhaust vent at the back. I DIY'd an vent extension by using two pieces of aluminum sheets from HomeDepot for less than $3. It doesn't look great but works. Another problem is the small water tank. I refilled water twice when doing a two hour steaming. Beside those two problems, I am enjoying cooking with this nice looking small appliance. It's very easy to operate. (I even didn't read the manual yet. Or I don't know if there was one.) Parts can just throw in dish washer after use. Hopefully there will be replacement parts to sell somewhere someday. I need extra steam rack. Updated exhaust vent: when I was replacing the light bulb inside, I found the vent is just the silicon tube. So I updated it with PVC pipes as the picture I uploaded. Spent me $9 and 20 minutes and worked pretty well. ... show more

  • Great Product
I have had and used this oven extensively since I bought it September 2022 (almost a year). I see some bad reviews that say the preheat stage is too long but I always start the oven then prepare my bakeware/pan with whatever I am going to cook, and by the time I get everything done it is preheated, and most times it is preheated before I am ready to put the pan in the oven. I had a Cuisinart steam oven before this one and it stopped working (steaming) after six months. I have used almost all of the features on this oven and find no fault with any of them. I think there must be operator error if you have an issue. My favorite modes are the steam bake, the air fryer, the true convection, and of course the steam clean, which is a godsend for these types of ovens. It cooks rice with protein and vegetables to perfection on the steam-bake setting. You need to experiment with your quantities, time frame and temperature but the booklet/manual should help. ... show more

  • Works Great!
Highly recommended! I stopped using my full size oven and microwave-convection oven! It’s large enough to hold my 10 cup Bundt pan or 2 full size loaf pan! Holds a 1/4 sheet cake pan. The steam features work great. Water reservoir is refillable without opening the oven! So handy! Holds a large amount of water. So, I refill with distilled water about once a month in summer when the oven is used less. Heats faster than my large oven. Best oven for breads with the steam features that gets the crispest crust! Reheated goods do not dry out or petrify! ... show more
