I was hesitant to purchase these based on some of the poor reviews but I have been very happy with them so far. They are lighter than expected and very comfortable. It was hard to find a pair of partially rimless readers that didn't also have metal nosepieces or spring arms. Appearance isn't that important to me but I like the clean modern look and the textured section on the earpieces is a really nice touch. Time will tell if such lightweight glasses will hold up but I think with a little care I will have them for years to come. I used to buy these exact same glasses under the brand "Simply Specs" at Christmas Tree Shops. They were 3 pair for $12 !! That's what they are worth. Terrific looking glasses. Lightweight. Plastic. But Foster Grant/Amazon must have bought the name and now charge $15-17 for a single pair. The can break easily and this pair did in 3 months with one arm snapping off without being pulled on. At 3 for $12, I don't care. I grab pair #2 and go buy another pack of 3. I have to find a new brand at Christmas Tree Shop! ... show more
