  • Best Product for Our Aging Dog
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
Our dog, Callie just turned 12 and have never been a barker unless the doorbell rang. Now this has become a problem, especially at night if she NEEDS to go out. We’ve cleaned up a few overnight accidents in the last few months and hopefully this will do the trick! Tested it out and cannot believe I only discovered this gem two days ago! —>Bravo! for those who use this for dementia patients. We didn’t come up w/the right keyword search at the time we needed something like this. It could have helped us with my dad who would get up in the night. The one time my mom didn’t wake, he fell and is now in the Vets home. Keep them home as long as you can! Product Pros: ****(4stars) IT IS AS PROMISED AND DESCRIBED. ****(4stars) for a product that is exactly what it claims to be AND for being out of the box ready! ****(4stars) bc the wall mount bracket actually acts as a stand as well! I may mount it on a small block of wood for ease of mobility. ****(4stars) for VERSATILITY- Sensor | vertical yields a narrower (and taller) “sensing field”. I noticed it sensed my head before my foot when vertical. Turning it —- horizontally works better for the lower, shorter 4-legged target. I stood it on the floor, by the door, where in the night, Callie stands—silently, and stares, through half blind eyes, at the door that won’t open telepathically. :o( We kept the doorbell sound for now and plugged it in just outside our bedroom door. Night #1-no ding-dong, but no pee-pee in the house! I will update this review after a few weeks of it doing its job. The real test will be when I am at work and my husband is working remotely downstairs in his office. At least three times, our silent avenger has interrupted a Zoom only to stare…silently…at the dada…who apparently cannot read doggo minds. Aaaand…she peed. All he needs to do is move the dingdong plug-in downstairs with him and crystal ball!!! Yes, ladies, if we were in his place, we wouldn’t need this during the day! Y’all know it’s true. *If anyone knows of a product that can get a healthcare IT manager to go back to face to face, in office work days…please tell me!! :o) Yes, Jan. 2020 - present is a looong time to be home- and yet she still peed 3 times on his watch…hmmmmmm…. ****(4HUGE ENVRONMENTAL STARS) BC I DIDN’T HAVE TO WRESTLE hermetically sealed parts, fastened to plastic brackets, or use a sawzall to open the packaging! - - Seriously…and sidebar…if gov’t put the onus on manufacturers for their excessive overuse of packaging, consumers wouldn’t bear the guilt burden of throwing their excess into the recycle bin IF IT IS EVEN RECYCLABLE AT ALL! ... show more

  • Great little door alarm
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
We use this in a tiny bookstore to alert us when someone enters. Sound is loud enough to be heard in a 2nd room. Easy to install. The first one we had lasted 4 years so we just ordered a 2nd to replace it. Great price.

  • This Little Motion Sensor Works Great So Far!
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
I got this for my cat to tell me when he comes in and out of the patio with the back door crack. 1. Easy to pair it to the receiver. 2. This little thing rocks. 3. I have the sensor on the wall by the floor of the patio, about four inches from the floor. And the receiver plugged into an outlet on the same wall inside the house and it works great, so far. 4. The only thing I see down the road, Is the sensor has two AAA batteries in it and don't know if it had a low battery indicator on it. 5. My review is about how this device works in a mobile home. If you own a full on ground house, It maybe different for you because the walls in the full ground house are thicker. 6. You may want to contact the company. 7. Picture 1 is the flat wall in the kitchen inside the house, picture 2 is on the wall of the patio with lines. ... show more

  • Stopped working after a few weeks
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
Update: The company reached out to me and sent a replacement receiver. This has fixed the problem, so I will amend my rating for the good customer service. We bought this product to alert us to when our dog needed to go outside in the middle of the night. It worked great for a few weeks, but has now stopped working. Don't waste your money! ... show more

  • Must have for small business or for house
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
I have been using this one for past 4years. I have pretty steady customer flow and still batteries lasts about 4 months. Some of my customers who loved so much that they had me order for them so when they are in basement working on things they can hear if someone enters house. Mind you I live in country side so not everyone uses fancy ring door cam or even smartphone. But they do use door chimes. N this is best. Even at my business this never failed. When batteries about to die it has different chime tone so you know it's time to change. Works amazing, many choices of chime tones and sound levels. It's clear to hear even if you plug adapter about 30ft away. ... show more

  • Has some false alarms
Style: 1 Receiver + 1 Motion Sensor
I bought this so I'd know if a loved one with dementia was trying to leave the house. I would have given it a 5 for motion sensing, but it's had a few false alarms; once it went off due to a strong wind blowing in the window, and another time, when I'd moved it near the back door in the kitchen, when I opened the oven, the heat apparently set it off. It was easy to set up. I've stuck with the doorbell chime, though, since I haven't had time to figure out how to set a different sound. I have NOT installed the monitor on a wall; I just lean it in a window sill or on a counter, aimed at the door. This way I can put it near the front or back door, or can use it in the hallway outside the bedroom at night. I like this flexibility, plus I unplug the alerting monitor and plug it in closer to where I am over the course of the day. We'll see how long the battery lasts, but I think I've had it about a month now. ... show more
