  • Really nice performance
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
The game handles really well with my gaming console I have had no crashes and have enjoyed playing with my family. Game is fun and competitive with realistic gameplay and great maps to play on. I love the cars and the level of detail that you can see and feel with the car.

  • Incredible SIM racer with depth and fun to spare
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Its strange to say it but this game while considered now to be the Gold Standard for racing games is amazing it still somehow feels underrated. This is the best SIM racer I have ever payed and my only statement would be look for a good price for the Ultimate edition if possible. It appears Forza 8 will NOT be out next year and the developer has stated they plan to continue supporting Forza 7 all the way through next year so you can even enjoy this sim racer while enjoying the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 which is its amazing more arcade like cousin. Also while this game has a strong metacritic score of 86 as of this review I would say it should be in the 90's. Many of the reviews mention micro transactions that still do not exist in this game at all. The amount of fun and depth on this game is incredible. It also looks absolutely beautiful on every version of the Xbox One hardware including the original release Xbox One, Xbox one S, and Xbox one X. It is clear as usual that as a first party studio Turn 10 knows how to get the most out of the XBOX hardware. If you enjoy SIM racers or just cars or just racing generally get this game. It is often on sale and even if you buy the standard edition the ultimate pass often goes on sale on XBOX live. ... show more

  • Wow. Just Wow.
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I didn't think I could love a racing game this much. And I love racing games. This game just BLEEDS beautiful. The sound effects are great, the control s are phenomenal, and I honestly haven't been this deep in a racing game in a long time - if ever. Forza Horizon 3 was great, spent a bit of time on that one, and this Motorsport 7 just kills on every level - it's a worthy cousin. There's so much variety in this game. Amazing number of different classes of vehicles to race. All the way from big rigs all the way down to ATVs. Heck, I get to virtually race my own car without worrying about speeding tickets or damaging it in this game. Visuals are astounding. I've only played it on a 720P, but have a 4K HDR TV lined up for my Xbox and can't wait to see it on there. I'm never going to want to go back. So much time and effort has been put into the reflections, the weather filters, etc - this game is a major production, and belongs in everyone's game library. ... show more

  • Let's start with the Good: 1) The driving is fantastic
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Have been playing Forza since the very beginning. The only 2 Forza games I have not owned have been 5 and Horizon 2. Let's start with the Good: 1) The driving is fantastic. Forza 6 was very very good, but it seems like Forza 7 does a better job with feedback and being able to modulate the throttle/brake/steering with a controller. In Forza 6 and Horizon 3, it seemed like the gas/brake when using the trigger would modulate pretty well between 0-60%, but would then jump from 60 - 100%. This made driving high horsepower cars annoying. There is also better feedback for which tire(s) is slipping. In 6, the driving dynamics were very good but it felt numb. My experience with 7 seems to have resolved that, and you are better able to respond to what the car is doing rather than waiting to react once you can visually tell the car is understeering/oversteering. 2) Eau Rouge is terrifying, as it should be. 3) The updated weather and day/night effects are awesome. Puddles form and dry, the track dries, you can find the dry line forming versus the wet outer track, etc. It is a true wet weather experience. 4) They have strategically added tire walls to keep people from cutting certain corners while also giving a visual indicator or exactly how close you can cut the corner. No more magic sticky grass. And now, the Bad: 1) The freakin' homespace puts your car in a shadow. WTF Turn 10? The graphics are prettier than ever, and we can't see any of the details of our paint, wheels, etc etc because it's dark in our garage...dumb. 2) The mod pack/monetization thing. I know it's what every game is doing because it makes money, but I have lots of concerns. 3) The homologation/new class system: I think this is a great addition in theory, because you can now have additional control over what cars are in a multiplayer lobby. For instance you can limit the horsepower or the tire width and so forth. However, it should allow for power index to be edited. As it stands currently, you get a car and are basically stuck to that car in its current form because any mods push it over the allowable power index. I bought the E46 M3, and can install a widebody kit to live my garage-built time attack racer dreams....except I can't actually match my widebody m3s looks to its performance because doing anything bumps it out of the class its in...Forza is supposed to be about the love of cars and building cars as much as it is racing. It's good that they continue to improve out-of-the-box performance for some cars so that people who don't want to tune can still enjoy the game...but most of us like to tinker. 4) The addition of wide-body kits to certain cars is nice, but I still want to see more customization. I don't have an issue with re-using cars that have been in other Forzas, but I would like to see more body kits/splitters/wings/a wheel editor, etc. Maybe that can be the big update for Forza 8. TL:DR - it's Forza - the driving is fantastic. Sometimes the AI can be annoying. Microtransactions are bad but they keep making money. Let me paint the lip of my wheels a different color than the damn spokes! ... show more

  • Superb Game Loving it more and more the more i play.
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
The Game is great i like the all new features, at launch it had some bugs but they are all fixed now and the game will get better, i dont recommend getting the Ultimate edition its a waste of money but if you are a old Forza Player you should already know that so quit it with the bad reviews. The graphics are better, in game racing and track physics is superb. This new car system makes you want to buy cars to earn better cars and doesn't allow you to unrealistically modify your car although you still can but you cant use it online or in campaign which i personally don't mind because online people are horrible there is no skill at all people just max out their car and hit people until they get to 1st place. ... show more
