Absolutely love this game! Accidentally came across a trailer for it and I'm so glad i did! I pre-ordered it and fell in love. It's a great team game with extensive gameplay. They could use some new missions but still...each mission is unique each time. Love the monthly Game Types although i was VERY upset that they got rid of the Survive the Storm game-type! It kind of sucks that these games only last 1 month before changing. Survive the Storm should be permanant! Highly recommend you grab this game! ... show more

  • From the video and information it *sounds* like it's a survival sandbox game
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I'm not much of one for writing a low review without having actually played the game, but here's the deal: This game does not yet have a PvE mode. You have to buy a "founders pack" to buy the PvE capability. You can't play this game offline. From the video and information it *sounds* like it's a survival sandbox game, but it 100% isn't. I couldn't find a single player option at all, and returned it immediately. I wish games these days would tell you exactly what they are about. Especially before you spend time waiting for 18Gb of updates to install before you can even play them. ... show more

  • Very nice entertainment that has endured 6+ months
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Wow, what can you say? I got this for my kids and they have continued to play it. Most games they get tired of after a week or month or so, but this is clearly unique. Watch out for extra costs, though, such as Gold membership and Battle passes.

  • it's fun, especially when playing with friends
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
It's ok ... it's fun, especially when playing with friends, but i can't even fully understand what's missing to make this a real experience. I with the forts/buildings that you make could be a consistent, growing, project. There is an element of this, but most missions are very disjointed and you have to begin anew each time, finding new materials and creating new forts to fend off the horde. A more continuous gameplay, where your fort can flourish would be excellent. ALSO excited to hear about the Battle Royale mode ... this addition could be the kick in the pants the game needs. ... show more

  • My son loves it.
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
My son has been enjoying this game quite a bit. I played it a little bit with him, and it's fun and an interesting concept. Between when I ordered this and it arrived, the Battle Royale feature became free on XB1, so my son was already playing it. We ended up only needing to enter the codes. Actually we were a little confused about it, but I emailed Epic Games, and they quickly responded with "Did you enter the codes?" hahah. Anyhow. Games these days. ... show more

  • there is a huge pay wall to getting cool stuff and even if you pay to play
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Gamer beware, this is not a full retail launch, it is a Beta Test early access test environment priced as if it is a full game. The game will be Free to play when it eventually launches. For now you are paying to be their beta tester. Even Free to play is a misnomer, there is a huge pay wall to getting cool stuff and even if you pay to play, its RNG so you can only hope when you spend lots of money that the game randomness is kind to you. ... show more

  • Pay to Play
Platform For Display: Xbox One Edition: Standard
This is a "pay to play" game that is still in it's development stage. What you are purchasing here is a game that will be free to play at some point in 2018 and they still expect you to purchase extra content to progress. My family of four purchased 2 copies of this game from the xbox store when it was released (we have two xboxes) and after spending another $100 on V-Bucks are really disappointed. The game is full of glitches and you get kicked out of games on a regular basis. We all really wanted to like this one but unless you like to grind missions over and over for currency or purchase lots of extra currency you will most likely be disappointed by this one. Also if you use this as a games share the perks will only go to one account. Only the purchaser will receive the loot lamas, special hero's or special event perks. ... show more

  • Fortnight

What can I say? It's Fortnight the kids love it. I have three boys 10,12,14 and they all play it except the 14 year old, he plays it only occasionally because he's more into racing games.
