I love these utensils. Had my eyes on them for a couple of years and finally decided to buy two sets. The individual pieces fit nicely in your hand and have a nice weight to them. Despite the delicacy of the design, they feel substantial and are truly beautiful. I love this set. They look great and have a comfortable weight. My one complaint is that the spoon and fork handles are a bit more narrow than the knives and can slide through standard dishwasher silverware baskets. I have ended up laying them flat in an upper rack. Arguably this is a fault of the dishwasher basket, but it would be nice if they were al like the knives, which do not fall through. Some comment about the spoons being too deep or hard to eat with, and the shape is different from your typical spoon, but I do not find this off putting or an issue. ... show more

When I got married, having no experience picking out silverware I chose my set based on appearance only. Lessons learned over the years brought us to a new set. My biggest issues with the old set were that they had an oversized handle, so they were very bulky both for storage in our drawer and for washing in the dishwasher. In addition, the handle made them so heavy and unbalanced that unless there was significant food on the plate or in the bowl, it would tip right back and fall off/out. The larger dinner sizes of the fork and spoon were too big for my liking as well, so we had half the usability of the whole set. So I set out to find a slimmer, sleeker, smaller set. And WOW did I find it! This set is absolutely beautiful. As others have noted, the handles are very thin and the design of the pieces is very slender, so if you are looking for a heftier set that you can really get a hearty forkful of food at a time this is probably not the set for you. UPDATE 6/8: We have had rusting issues with some pieces, mainly the knifes. I suggest washing these by hand when possible, especially the knifes. ... show more

I’m a big fan of long stems wether it’s wine glasses ,flowers or flatware ,... when I originally saw these I was immediately attracted to the design,they were EXACTLY what I’d been looking for. The only negative side that I can find with this ( dragonfly) flatware is the initial price which caused me to take a gulp or two before I pressed the order button.,the other slightly annoying thing is were they stamped the makers stamp which is on the inside of the spoons and forks where you eat from.,surely they could have put the mark on the backside of the spoons/ forks or even on the stem., it just looks kinda weird there. Pros: love the unique look, sturdy, 18/10 stainless steal, longer handles, smaller “heads” (=smaller bites) Cons: brand is on the utensils, falls through standard dishwasher utensil baskets, spoon shape is deep making it kind of weird to eat from and harder to scrape the bottom of the bowl

I love these started to just have 2 but the more I used them the I liked and I'm and older woman. I going to give the heavy some what updated set away (they were more to his liking) true they may not be for everyone but that's what makes us unique as well.
