Perfect for buffing gel polish to prep for removal! It’s much easier to manipulate the block sander than a nail file/board. The block sander is flexible for the corners and cuticle areas. Be sure to buff off those sharp edges by sanding the block edges against a nail file.

I have used the Sally’s polar block for years as they do not jack (damage) your nail beds and they are very difficult to find. Appears the product that you’re getting is not same polar block they used to sell so I have been on the hunt for a dupe. This is the closest I have found. The quality is great and you can wash these. I use these as fine sanding for polymer clay sculptures and other hobby sanding/buffing. They are easy to hold and make sanding in corners a dream due to their sponge flexibility. And if I need a smaller, more manageable piece, I can just cut off a corner chunk.

they are promoted as 180 grit, they should be promoted as 80 grit or 100 grit. they did nothing for my nails and nothing for my dogs toenails either. Nothing. The holistic vet that I take my 2 year old dog to recommended 180 grit nail buffing blocks to sand down the dogs nails. She said to get them at Sallys Beauty Supply but I opted for Amazon instead of driving to my local Sallys. I shouldve listened to her full recommendation and got at beauty supply store instead the return window for the buffing blocks ended yesterday, imagine my luck when I go on here to do a review and Was going to submit a refund request. ... show more
