I'm getting into journaling and decided to buy this one. I like that it's simple and doesn't have any wild design or obnoxious text on it. Plus it just feels "nice". the bookmark and elastic strap to keep it closed are good touches. I'm hardly consistent and this is the first journal I've bought since composition notebooks in high school so I have nothing to really compare it to- but for me, it's everything I wanted. I've used this book for a few months now. The book's paper is not good with markers (sharpies, furniture markers, copics, etc.). I've used oil pastel sticks in here, crayon, felt pens, ballpoint pens, gel pens, watercolor brush pens, water based paint markers and pencils. The paper stood up to all of these mediums. I've also used Stamps in here with minimal bleeding. I recommend this to the people who journal and sketch. You'll Love it. ... show more

Caveat—I bought this maybe a year ago, so perhaps it’s changed a bit since then. The notebook color, cover, and pocket are great, but the paper was thinner than other bullet journals that look similar. Not bad paper bu any means, just thinner w/a higher rate of bread through w/non-ballpoint pens.

Using it as a design and sketch book dots make it easy to scale draws. Pockets on the back makes a great spot for a small ruler or extra note sheets. It doesn’t have many pages but it’s great and inexpensive. Could easily see myself buy another one

I've had lots of journals in this size, most purchased on Amazon. Just started using this one and discovered that the paper is noticeably thinner than other similar journals. Since I mostly use fountain pens, with this particular brand there is noticeable bleed through -- I can see the previous page. I'll use it until it's full (I think, since it's too late to return), but will not be purchasing this brand again. There are better alternatives out there. ... show more
