    • Excellent heavy duty TV mount.
This mount is a beast of a mount. It's heavy duty for sure... which also means it's pretty heavy. I have installed hundreds of TV's and have some pretty good wall anchors that I have always trusted in drywall, but this mount is for my main tv in our family room, and I just happened to put some wood backing in where the TV was going to go... and I am glad I did. The mount itself combined with the TV is pretty substantial, and I am glad to have planned ahead for such a scenario. The mount itself is super solid and super strong with nice and tight tolerances. I love that this mount has the ability to also rotate a bit. If you have ever mounted a TV in a basement with low ceilings in an old house where level lines aren't always something you can count on, it's very nice to be able to make those fine adjustments: you may have mounted it perfectly level, but all you see when you sit down to watch tv is the lines across the top of the TV not lining up with the lines on the ceiling. Obviously, measuring from the ceiling instead of the floor is the way to get around this, but having that ability is nice as it leaves a little bit of room for error. The mount can really extend out quite a long way too. WAY more than I will ever use, but it does make it really nice and easy if you need to pull the tv away from the wall to hook something up behind it: there is plenty of room. Just keep this in mind as you are planning your setup: I would estimate you are probably eating up about 5 or so feet of cable just between the input port on your TV and where the mount meets the wall. 6' cables won't give you a whole lot of wiggle room there for hooking up things like gaming consoles (depending on where you put them). I also LOVE the included power supply. I know you can just use any old power supply, but I really dig how cleanly it integrates here. Definitely helps to keep things looking nice and tidy. All in all, this isn't a cheap mount, but I think it is easily worth it. It's super strong, looks great, and has features that a lot of other mounts I have used simply don't have. This TV motion is very very heavy. Is strong and sturdy. Like the cable is not hanging on the ground and it keeps the wall more organized. Like how it can tilt and can move to any direction. The pre-assembled design made installation a breeze, and the heavy-duty construction feels incredibly sturdy. The smooth swivel, tilt, and extension features allow for perfect positioning of my 85" TV. The integrated power strip is also a convenient touch. However, I do want to note that the packaging was quite poor, and the mount arrived with some finish damage. Thankfully, it doesn't affect the performance, but it's a shame given the overall quality of the product.
