I'm very satisfied with how well the items were packed. All of the hardware was included and was simple to assemble. It came undamaged and the bowls are huge. Which is great because I can set a lot of water for two cats. It's clearly designed for small and medium dogs, as the description states. I set it on the lowest level, which is perfect for my adult cat, but, too high for my kitten. Which is fine because I previously ordered a small bowl stand that's perfect for the little one. I haven't had this bowl stand very long. It's a tad wobbly but sturdy enough not to be tipped over or moved out of place. ... show more

My 16 year old beagle mix is getting wobbly and weak and was stumbling all over himself trying to eat so I got this to bring his food closer to his face. It did that. He is now cleaning his bowl where before I was trying to figure out why he would hardly ever go to his food and was losing so much weight. Turns out just having to bend so low was causing him enough pain that he didn't bother eating. He's about 18" from his paw to the top of his front shoulder to give you an idea and medium size was enough to get it right about snout level. Didn't have any trouble putting it together, although it did take a bit of common sense to get the pieces to line up when you are screwing them together which is where I think a lot of these other reviewers probably failed. Welding burs and whatnot are a thing. Get a hammer, smack it, it'll go. To me this is an annoyance but a minor one. The legs might be a bit fiddly, but move the pieces back and forth bit or like I said, give it a tap or two with a hammer to break any welding burs away and they'll line up. You get what you pay for usually. This thing is cheap but aside from a few apparent manufacturing inconsistencies it is otherwise great for the price. Plenty sturdy. The gripper pads on the feet work very well, this thing doesn't move or skate across the floor while the dog's eating like his old bowl did. ... show more

The dog bowl stand was easy to put together, came with everything I needed. The bowls that come with it are good quality and a nice shape with a slightly rounded bottom making it easy for my boy to get all his food out. Def. a good purchase.
