I was looking for something to put over my concrete basement floor to help soften it up a bit and make a usable space for my kids to play in. The floor is epoxy coated, but still will seep water a bit through cracks during heavy rain periods. We don't have the budget to finish the floor properly so these seemed like an option to try. I started with one bundle to try out with and ended up buying a second to cover most of the rest of the floor. These were very easy to cut using a pair of scissors to get them to fit perfectly around things like the lally columns and up against the walls. They give a decent amount of cushion, so toddlers falling over leads to less drama. They seem sturdy enough to hold up to kids dragging chairs on them. They hold back the water well enough that my rug on top of them stays nice and dry. They are easy enough to lift up to dry off if a little bit of water gets under them. Yes, you can still see the seems a bit, so they don't actually look like wood floors, but for the price and function of these, I really have no complaints. ... show more

I absolutely love this floor! I was having trouble choosing a flooring material for my enclosed front porch. It is unheated and can go from the 90s in the summer to single digits in the winter (gotta love that MA weather). A lot of flooring can warp and have issues with such temperature fluctuations so I was hesitant to spend a lot of money. This was by far the cheapest option I could find and I am so happy with it! It's soft and cushy on my feet, was super easy to install (it cuts very easily with a utility knife), and it looks beautiful - I ordered the weathered fence grey. As much as I love it and would definitely order it again, I will point out some observations if they come in handy for other customers: it does expand and contract in different temperatures but it doesn't damage or lessen the quality of the product. If it was in a more temperature-controlled space I'm sure this wouldn't happen. When my front porch is especially sunny and warm, the floor will bow because of expansion, but I just open the windows to let out some of that heat and the floor goes back down. My front porch is in direct sunlight, and there have been times when areas of the mats will blister. If I had to choose one thing about this floor that I didn't like, this would be it. But it's not the floor's fault - I don't think it's made to be in direct sunlight. So every so often I've replaced the blistered tiles with extras I had leftover, which is very easy to do. If you put furniture on this floor, it will leave marks/indents - but I keep the furniture in the same places anyway so it's not noticeable. All in all I would absolutely order this again and it's doing a great job! ... show more

Beautiful! It doesn’t feel cheap. It doesn’t look cheap. It is soft but not so soft that it’s not supportive. I will say that with x3 dogs it can get small scratches and holes, but the color I chose (light grey) has been pretty good at making them unnoticeable in most lights and angles. Easy to clean and doesn’t hold stains. I feel like our living room is less dusty and easier to manage now. ... show more

I love these tiles! I have parquet wood flooring that I’m not too fond over, but I do not want to get any rugs because of my allergies, nor do I want to slave over cleaning them. Right now I have a small area in my living room with this “wood rug” (as my nephew calls it) in the barnwood brown color, and I do like it a lot! I’d love to cover the whole floor, but I don’t have a lot of furniture and like how it acts as an accent. It’s different for sure, but I like it! I want to expand it, and I like the fact that I can make it bigger later. I can do a little at a time instead of going nuts trying to get the right measurements right away- figure it out one tile at a time! As much as I love how it looks, it is a little more firm than I’d like it to be. It feels fine under shoes, but barefoot is a little rough for me personally- but I do have issues with all sorts of chronic pain in my lower body, so this might not be an issue for others. It’s odd because I can tolerate being barefoot on the hardwood floor, but barefoot on the mat causes some strain? But I do feel hopeful that it will get softer over time- foam usually looses its firmness. It was also a little rough getting down on the floor for a while to put it together. If you have issues with joint pain, nerve pain, or some type of pain, have issues getting up and off the floor, etc- you might need a little help. It shouldn’t be hard at all for others who don’t have any issues with pain to begin with, and it still wasn’t something I couldn’t do by myself- I tackled it all on my own and was sore for about a day. One other thing is that it drove me temporarily nuts was trying to match up the tiles to make it all look “together” and reduce the appearance of the interlocking tiles and wood grain not lining up exactly right. I was able to match up 4 out of 12 tiles perfectly, and I give up at this point haha. It’s not a deal breaker, but wish there was a way to identify which tiles line up instead of solving such a big puzzle! Probably smarter to not try to make all the pieces line up perfectly with the wood grain, and make it look mismatched so it all blends easily that way. Even with tiles mismatching a little bit, I still love it and recommend this product. The print looks beautiful, and no one is going to care about the little interlocking outlines they see or if the grain doesn’t all line up in along the whole finished piece- you get used to it and it’s easy to tune out if you are a perfectionist. My nephew loves it too! He complimented it and was tumbling all over it while whipping out some of the best preschool dance moves you’ve ever seen. We can’t complain! ... show more
